I know it's terrible but I haven't had one in forever, so who cares? It's not going to kill me.

You know what? Me too. ESPECIALLY if it's going to kill me. It seems since my makeup, the water I drink, the air I breathe, the aluminum in my deodorant, etc. etc. is killing me, I might as well eat a burger and enjoy myself a little.

Yeah, it's funny that they never give us an option to stay o_O In the states, I always heard "For here or to go?" Though on occasion I have heard "Is this take out?"

No, it's true. When Elvis died they opened him up and found 40 pounds of pristine, undigested Big Macs in him. True fact.

Of course it's true. Guys, mcdonalds tastes really good but when I worked there and went to the refri thing, I saw the meat and thought "WTF is this", I wont go into details tough, but I think mcd food is made of everything but cow. Icecreams are the best anyway.

For the poll, as a spanish speaking country, there are lots of ways to say it and more elegant:

1. Para llevar o para comer aqui? - To take out or for eating here?
2. Para la mesa o para llevar? - For the table or to take out?
3. Se lo empaco o se lo come aqui? - Shall I pack it for you or will you eat it in here?

These are the ones I've heard.

I think the general rule of thumb is that people generally don't eat the food served at theiir place of employment because they know the gritty little secrets of how it's made... ::erm::

There's a rumor in Japan that the burgers at MacDonalds is made of insects and worms.

(My coworkers make fun of me because I still call it マックド (Makkudo) in kansai-ben instead of マック (Makku) which is the Tokyo way of saying it.)

It's true, Japan really IS 20 years behind America culturally XD
Man, I wonder what other sorts of old rumors are still floating around over there. If I only spoke the language I bet it would be like a time capsule.
