I finally voted, Nocturnal Opera (you people are so lazy, how hard is it to type out the title?)

anyway, for the people who say Moi dix Mois will never be as good as Malice Mizer: Mana is just getting started, he is experimenting with different styles of music, you can't just forget how to be a genious composer. and with the recent addition of K their music could most deffinatley evolve into something spectacular. give it time

I'm voting for Nocturnal Opera. Bara no Seido was a HUGE dissapointment to me! I'm probably gonna get killed for saying that.....but I prefer songs which I can sing along with (or at least attempt..). There was hardly any singing on that one.
Besides, I hate Klaha.

Ehhhh~~ I had trouble choosing, because musically, I love both albums equally. However, I chose Nocturnal Opera, because I love the story it tells.

it depends on the way you look at things. I didn't really like the music from BnS, but that doesn't mean it was bad at all... I really like the super dark music of Moi dix Mois better than most Malice Mizer. The only album I really liked was Memoire DX (yes, with Tetsu) and maybe one or two from the rest. It actually depends more on your taste of music. If you know what you like then the choice should be easy. Nocturnal Opera for me. The story is sad, the music sounds dark and fancy (Mephisto Waltz, mostly). Really good album.

As much as I love Bara no.. I think nocturnal opera is better because it has a lot more dimensions. Bara kind of gets repetitive after a few listens. Nocturnal has more power.. Plus I like Juka's vocals way better. The songs are a lot more complex and diverse.
This is a hard choice..

I enjoy vocals quite abit, so I'm going with N.O. for this one, even though I love Bara no Seidou.

dont get me wrong, I love Bara no seidou. It itself has great music but I am not a big fan of the vocals, I then listen to Nocturnal opera. Sure its music stature is not as great, however its vocals are great with a mix of Juka's and the female. I personally love Nocturnal opera compared to Bara.

Bara no Seidou seems to have more work and passion put into it. (well from my point of view) in any case I love both albums but I think Bara is better in terms of... I don't know... I think I like Nocturnal Opera just as much!
