Does anyone have any information on Korean VK? From what I can find on the net, it's pretty scattered and in pieces. I can't find any solid facts. I've heard of Nemesis, Angel Heart, Eve, and Trax...but I can't really find anything else.

I think you're not finding any solid facts because the VK scene from Japan just does not exist in Korea, or at least the one that used to be in Japan.

Prepare for uselessness:
My search several years ago during the height of visual kei online popularity only came up with one korean vocalist who was clearly influenced by indie vk bands from Japan. I unfortunately don't know his name. He made two music videos for two separate bands and then disappeared from the music scene. Neither of them were on a video streaming site and I only successfully got a copy of one of them, and I lost that in a data crash, so I cannot show you how good it was.

I assume you're searching more for that vk music feel, since Korean pop rock bands sort of all ready dress up and stuff.
You're better off, but not even by much, trying to find hard(er) rock bands from Korea than ones that are visual kei. Or look at the older stuff if you're into more X Japan type of vk?

Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

Even in Japan it is pretty much dead, I doubt you're going to found anything in other countries.

There are some bands trying to be visual kei abroad, but that is all they do, try.

^Silver Ash? Actually, they say they're resuming activities now and are having a new single out this month.

Anyway, I usually hear about indie rock in Korean music, not VK. Anything not pop or r'n'b/rap seems to be under the radar imo.

I think it would benefit the OP if you said which 'shit' bands are copying soleil and matina labels ;) I'd like to know them as well.

Maybe you can check out this list here: http://www.metal-archives.com/lists/KR listen to a few and evaluate costumes lol

Notice none of the bands you've already mentioned are on this list because frankly, rock music in korea is Indie rock. It is a mainstream alternative. They have numerous festivals dedicated to this genre. Think bathed hippies but in all pastels and they shop at places like urban outfitters. It's the perfect drama daydream to show off soft art. They like reading design books in cozy coffee shops and taking polaroid pictures. This is korean rock. Peace & love to all koreans.

Sorry for more outside links, but there seems to be a good list of basic bands here you might like if stuff like Nemesis is okay:

And the same question asked on a Korean board:
http://kin.naver.com/qna/detail.nhn?d1i ... utf8&secti

I've heard of Nell, No-brain,Guckkasten, but they all still fall into indie art rock for me. A good source for them and a lot of 'under the radar' music is a user named Orienkorean on Youtube.
I'm not going to say that there are no visual bands in Korea. Their underground music scene is alive and well. But I highly doubt the visual will be on par with what most would call Japanese visual kei. A quick search of 비주알락 밴드/비주얼계 brings up only who you've already mentioned ::bleh:: and all the old japanese bands. (Nemesis gets extra praise cuz they use a piano)

*oh no wait! band 리플렉스 (Reflex) calls themselves a visual band--but....no nevermind.

If it makes you feel any better for getting nowhere, fans of vk in Korea have been asking the same question, and the bands that do start up seem not to last long. lots of dead websites.

I had a Korean GF once and she showed me the only "VK type" band she ever knew from Korea, and she said they were pretty famous, but when we looked up for them on Google we found almost nothing! Seems Korea forgets quick. Anyways, the music was lame. Don't remember the name.
