Not that I suspect this of that tape, but wouldn't be incredibly easy to counterfeit those demos?
Well you'd have to have the right kind of paper to make the cover, the right inserts (I forget if the real thing has any), and the right brand and model of tape. It probably wouldn't be impossible, but not worth the trouble for 'most any tape we'd be interested in.
That aside, Japanese people just don't seem to make counterfeits. I've never seen one for sale that I know of - even burned CDRs and such are pretty uncommon.

These Girl'e demos do seem to be a lot less rare than they used to be, though.

That, and who would know if it wasn't the right brand of tape, much less the right model? Would it even be difficult to get the same exact model, assuming they were being thorough? And the insert seems like the easiest part. It's very simple to get just about any kind of paper you need, and it's not exactly hard to print it and cut it to the proportions of a jewel case. I was able to use MSPaint to make all the inserts to a CD jewel case, for instance, and it actually turned out as well as you could expect it to. It wasn't glossy paper, but it fit perfectly and looked correct even on closer inspection.

Again, not saying this is a counterfeit, but it seems like it would be more affordable to make your own, and it seems like it would be very easy to make it too XD

Whoa! I want some of those but....not all of them :( If it was cheaper (really cheap) I would probably bid on them and then later try to sell off the ones I don't want. :P

Lots of good items today:

Rudolf Steiner "Queen of Decadence" demo, 3500Y, 1+ day left:
http://www.mbok.jp/item/item_243274717.html

Lareine ("Laliene") first demo tape, 10000Y, 1+ day left:
http://www.mbok.jp/item/item_243486416.html?u=2027927
I've always sort of wanted one of these, but I think I don't quite $100 want it.

Both variants of ISOLA's "Egoiste Butterfly", 5000Y each, 1+ day left. This is a steal if you can get it for that.

And finally, pay attention because here is:
Malice Mizer "SANS LOGIQUE", 5000Y
http://www.mbok.jp/item/item_243495770.html?u=2027927
The case, they say, is cracked but the jacket and tape inside are undamaged.

These are the songs on it. That's probably where they got the name from, though.

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to buy these demos before I graduate ::zetsubou:: Hopefully they'll still be floating around 3 years from now.

I'm not sure what it is about -scape- artists that compels me to complete my collection of their discography. I'm content to YouTube most other artists, or just buy a Greatest Hits collection or something. I've spent so much money to get as far as I have collecting these things, and it's all sitting in a box in my Mom's closet on the other side of the state. I hope to God it hasn't been damaged or stored improperly ::zetsubou::

Is "SANS LOGIQUE" a song?
Nah, just the title. Mana was a Mylene Farmer fan-nerd XD I think he borrowed the look of the Malice Mizer logo from one of her albums too.
You can download the tracks in the downloads section (see the permanent downloads thread up top)

Shun - "IV VISION" VHS, 1800Y, 1+ day left. Sorta rare.
http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n81381981

Update on the previous rare items: "SANS LOGIQUE" sold to a Japanese scalper, "Queen of Decadence" to a foreigner (anyone here?), and the rest were relisted. Someone really ought to pick up the ISOLA discs.

Cure Twitter. ::kisaki::

The whole event is still posted, it's pretty funny to read through it.

Haha, I know what you mean. I've snatched up a few good deals and kept my mouth shut the whole time.
