They're really only different in the beginning, but I'd already done the rest of the song ^^ It's not word for word literal, but the meaning is the same.

Perfect Garden

Everything in here has fallen to the vulgar people's sneers
I fear soon even I'll go crazy if I have to yet stay here

Trapped amongst the commoners of this vile place
Before you too are poisoned and lose your way...

Let's run into the light, go so very far, towards a place fallen to utter dismay
Abandoning everything that has caused us pain as together we run away
We'll arrive at a place, our own paradise, where decadence rules up on high
And amidst the sweet smell that enfolds you there, hold on to me and close your eyes

Just feeling you beside me is all I need
I wish everyone else would die away for eternity

Once we're there you will come to forget about your dark past that was so hard to bear
And alone within our perfect garden we'll weave a fairytale of forever

Let's run in to the light, go so very far, though our bodies may both fall apart
Escaping from the darkness hold close to me so we'll never be torn apart
We'll arrive at a place, our own paradise, where decadence rules up on high
And amidst the sweet smell that enfolds you there, hold on to me and close your eyes

...I always loved the lyrics to this song. And living in Japan gave me a different perspective through which to read them I think...
But this is a little more true to the Princess thing I think *lol*
Not that I understand why the commoner/nobility distinction is so important though...

Why is it that all of their lyrics are always so... relevant? To me, I mean. If only it were a year, and a half ago... エリザベス…

Thank you for posting them. :)

Well, me too...Elisabeth too *you'd probably find the conversation Hana-chan and I just had pretty interesting*

Maybe it's because Kaya's singing for people from his own experiences from an angle that most other singers don't. His lyrics are pretty personal I feel.

Those lyrics are beautiful. <3 I wrote a poem like that once, except both people died in the garden.

That's sad ;_;

Definitely so; this isn't the first, or the second song that with which its lyrics are effective on a deeper level than just me thinking "oh, they seem rather meaningful", in so far as I can make a personal relation.

It's a little late for Leyata, though...I, too, begin my search, and my life, anew.

Yeah...I've never actually been in a relationship, but I do have certain things going on in my head that fit with what he's saying...

Leyata? We had a user on here named Leyata once. But that's one of those personal things, hm :? ...ganbare XD

Cool! Thanks.

Are the lyrics for the Queen of Decadence demo much different from those of the album version?

well...this is the album version

Perfect Garden

Everything in here is rotten, everything even my voice
*But come with me and together we will find our own paradise*

In this deepening dark and swirling bad dream
Before you lose your way too *hold on to me*

Let's run into the light, go so very far, towards a place seeped in utter dismay(dispair)

But remember...this is my translation...
I've been realizing lately how differently people will interpret songs.

People who translate things are teabags..like Gackt.....(or maybe not)

I like how you can sing along to that in English~

Yes; I'm the teabag that makes cows.

Current and NVC are sing-along-able too (although the natural pitches in the song and english don't match up). I was wondering when someone would notice ^^

I noticed that with Inner Universe, too. I tried it out with the instrumental version, and except for a couple of syllables that didn't quite work so well with the flow of the song (I could not tell you what they were from memory), I thought that it all went along pretty well!

(Oh, and I read your original post before you edited it, earlier, and thanks. :) Perseverance is the key!)
