In midnight ruins...
They'll also perform on 8 September at an anime con in Germany.

I don't think I'll be going to the shows; I need to save my money (and days off work :P ) for M10M.

Crikey...I LOVE "Just Mad Pain." I think I'll probably order this one. I'm leaning towards purchasing the regular press this time, as I like the cover a lot more than the limited, and I haven't been too fond of their latest PVs.

I'm curious to find out more about the Last Word "PV" though, before I decide.

It's funny, I think the re-recording of "Amongst Foolish Enemies" is STELLAR, much better than the original. Yet "I hate myself and want to die" is just...ehhh, it's not bad, you can't make that song bad, but I don't like it near as much. I'm still digesting the whole album but it's damn solid so far.

edit: actually the ending of the song is really pretty, but the screaming at the beginning i was like....what are they doing to it?! I still love it when bands re-mix their singles. It's so boring when they don't and just tack them on the album.

Yay! :D

Thorny Rain Break is definitely my favorite new track, it's brilliant.

Bah, I ordered it together with gossip's new single which doesn't come out for another week. The sample on the OHP is making me quite eager to hear it.

The album rocks my socks off. I like it a lot more than their self-titled.

"Thorny Rain Break" is my favorite track on the album. It's so beautiful. The new version of "Shinwa" is also very well done, and of course "Just Mad Pain" is also quite good, as well as "To Infinity." Well, I love the majority of the tracks though, the only ones I'm iffy about are the last two, "Growl" and the revamped "I Hate Myself and Want to Die" though the new "I Hate Myself..." has grown on me a lot already.

I was hyped. ..But I must say, I am not impressed. The new Amongst Foolish Enemies sounds a bit dodgy, the new I Hate Myself blah blah is totally ruined (He really sounded like he was struggling with the growling, plus the production went in and out of mud and clarity over and over with the vocals), and the new songs are.. alright. Nothing spectacular, really. Bah.

I like the new album but I liked the self titled album a bit more. This one is still nice though and a good listen. I like how despite their change in sound, similarities to popular artist they still stay and sound like Rentrer en Soi.

I agree with most of this. I think there's a few great tracks, but majority of it feels kinda.. eh. The production is absolutely horrid. It sounds like every mic is covered with a pillow. And I most certainly agree about the new I Hate Myself.. Who thought those growls were a good idea? They just.. aren't working for him.

Overall, the songs themselves aren't bad but I don't feel anything that's making me particularly rock out like on the previous album.

I got it yesterday... listened to it...

It's okay. There are only a few stand out tracks for me, those songs being Thorny Rain Break, Misery Loves Poisonous Blue, and To Infinity.

The PVs are pretty lousy, except for Murder Intent, which is a collage of live footage combined with footage of explosions and bombs and stuff.
