Ah, Dada is so nice and sweet! And good at English!
Now I feel bad that I'm not as familiar with VELVET EDEN as I'd like to be. But Dada is some kind of legend.

Why is there a purikura with Mana, anyway? Have they collaborated before, or is it just a "small world", the music industry?

Dada's English isn't good, he uses a translator =)
Mana was part of the first "Dada wa Tsurai" in MGazette, and as far as I understand, they knew eachother a bit. Dada made Mana interested in garage kits.

Still don't know whether they're friends or not...people say many things about it O.o?

As I heard Mana and Dada used to be friends.
I don't know if this is right, but (I think) I read it somewhere, that they were friends and now they aren't anymore. (since a couple of years).

I've heard he's got a girlfriend that translates for him...

Still haven't chatted with Dada but I always see him on line...XD

I can't help but nod in approval at some of those bands he's got listed there. The Cure, Bauhaus, Laibach...

Dead or Alive... weird to say they take me back to 2006, but they do- for the least sophisticated reason possible. The vocalist appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and suddenly their hit single was everywhere for several months. ::meev::

So many teenagers didn't know of DoA until then......it's a shame none looked further than the one song haha.

Dada kind?
Nobody knows what he's like in personal life....as some people have said on TV the internet brings out the dicks in anyone (esp. regarding twitter).

How much longer will it take before Dada is declared "the most underrated artist of the VK scene", I wonder...

Hello guys .. =)

sorry for interrupting ..

about Dada's facebook account .. amm well , for some reason I doubt that the guy behind that account is Dada himself ..

let's face it .. he's famous .. and it's hard to believe that someone like him would add people randomly , chat with them and answer their questions . =\

don't you think ??

@ people who chatted with him before .. is their any proof or sign that he's Dada himself and not a bluffer guy ?? >>> I'm just too desprate to believe this .. I really want him to be in my friends list but Im a fraid that I'm adding a fraud =\ in other words .. I don't want to repeat the same mistake when I added the "fake" Klaha's myspace account

This. New VE is just further proof of how important Kalm really was.

Judging by their new material I don't think Dada is going to be winning any awards any time soon ::meev::

@Jareth- I'm not sure I was even a teenager at the time! In fact, I think I was still at the age where I didn't really bother with anything outside the charts- which means I am admitting to never getting into Dead or Alive aside from that one song. I did consider more recently, but the whole Stock/Aitken/Waterman thing put me off. I am open to a plug, though.

@sho4- It's perfectly plausible. He's well known in certain circles, but he's not a big celebrity by any stretch of the imagination. A lot of more niche musicians do have fb accounts, and some do add fans. I know of someone who sent a friend request to Peter Murphy and got accepted. *shrug*

@MissUMana- He's already one of them in my book. :) Doesn't surprise me that VE get overlooked though- they don't fit with the modern VK scene, which seems to be becoming increasingly cutesy. Actually (and I'm not sure how relevant this is, but what the hell), I read some of the 2007 Jrocksecret entries, and there were a lot of posts from people who found Mana absolutely terrifying for various reasons.

And the sea monkeys... and the atari games... and the Snoopy futon that had to be taken on holiday... and they've definitely never read any of the older, dafter Malice interviews...

Ah well, bafflement is what I deserve for reading that comm.

If it's fake I am disturbed that somebody posted images of the wings Dada wore at last live show before the show itself saying he just finishing making them ::shifty::

@VKHistorian, that's understandable I think I'd had the 'weirdo' taste for about 4 years before he was on that (though I didn't recognise him as he was nice looking with curly hair xD). I think "Something In My House" is a really good song of theirs, well the version used in the video the album version is hit or miss.

I'd agree he is one of the most underrated songwriters of VK scene, he writes alot of great music for so many people.....Always top quality aswell.
