I apologise if this has already been asked/answered in this already, but to those who have already heard it, what's the style of music like?

From what I know about it, it's gonna be similar to Ouka Ryouran (which suits me just fine if they're similar to Ryouran), in terms of Neo-traditional, but what's the actual music like? Ballards, techno-techno, etc?

It is probably closest to that release, yes.
01 - 桜花 ～百鬼乱舞編～
Rather neo-traditional... a bit slow moving but it has a great melody :O.
02 - 鏡鬼
Combine Kaleidoscope and La Moon from the Sailor Moon musicals and this is what you come up with. Has a very dance-y seiyuu feel XD;
03 - 般若
Your typical Kaya ballad :O.
04 - 傀儡
This song hit me as rather odd... but it grew on me? I can't really compare this song to anything Kaya has done so far even though has that familiar dark and omniscient feel he conveys so well at times.
05 - 火車
Y HALO THAR, GUNDAM WING TECHNO :O! Seriously though, I love this track XD;
SO dance-y and fun!

I've been wondering what it is about this CD that makes it Fabulous Music... *lol*

I think it's the beat of the songs and the rythm in the melody Kaya placed over them, mixed with the fact that there's also something ever so slightly gaudy about the CD (which isn't a quality critique; I think it's what he's going for).
Either way that's the only word I could think of

I got a strong Kalm vibe from Hannya. Some parts, like the beginning, remind me so much of VELVET EDEN. I love it though, it matches his vocals very well.

With these things in mind... I am looking forward to getting this CD. What can beat fabulous, gundam wing techno?!

Shame he's included a ballad though. While I have no problem with them, I just don't think they're anywhere near as good as his faster paced songs.

thank you for uploading that interview; it cleared up some questions I had about the kanji pronunciation.

1. It IS "hyakki yagyou"
I've seen it as "hyakki yakou" sometimes, but it's not in this case.

2. track 4 (?) 傀儡 = kugutsu, not kairai
it's some sort of alternative pronounciation I guess.
Which makes more sense, since I was under the impression "kairai" is more of a political term.

3. Kalm's name has kanji ^^ duuude....


um...does anyone even care about the kanji pronounciations and stuff? XD Cause I know I do, but then I like the Japanese language....
