My microwave doesn't spin, so when I put in frozen pizza, one half of the pizza burns and the other half is still frozen in ice o_O

I say from the outside in.

I saw this pole and asked everyone around around what they thought, and we decided that they cook from the inside out

Mine spins! :D I couldn't give you an answer to your question that wouldn't be a complete guess, though.

From the inside out.. Oh, and they are Cancer Machines. But I remember a rumour, that if you look into them when they are on, they can sure Cateracts. Anyone know is this is true? Maybe Mythbusters can work on that one...

That would be a very long experiment, but if they can condense it, it would make a very interesting episode =)

Cataracts can be formed if microwave radiation is directed into your eyes. But a microwave's inside is enclosed in a Faraday cage which prevents the microwaves from escaping. That's what the metal mesh on the glass door of the microwave is for.

Besides which, I've watched food cook in the microwave from up-close many a time. Popcorn is fun ^_^ And I never got cataracts.

When I was young, my friends little brother put an egg in the microwave (In shell). It got so hot that when he cracked it open with a spoon, it exploded hot molten stinking egg all over the walls and ceiling. It stunk so bad, but it was also very funny. I was glad it was not my place...

no~!! the cook outside in! (my microwaves spin~)

I tried to cook some TV dinner, and usually at 3 mins, I cut into my corn.. block... thing, and it's still ice in the middle; it cooks outside in. >_< unless my microwave works a different way...? >_>
