I like it, I'm curious what's going on with his hair... at first I didn't notice but then I realised there's something going out in the back...

It's all very simple, if you think about it. He must have a kid now.
Satoko's too busy to do his costumes, and the kid pulled out all his hair in the back lol

I love the concept of Hora's new look, the face mask and the staightjackety wrappings. I think it works well on the sitting picture, but looks a bit... erm, half-assed on the second, full-length one. He will definitely not be wearing this at lives though. For obvious reasons, like not being able to use his hands... or to speak :P

I was wondering if Hora makes/buys all his costumes himself these days? (I found the exact same shirt he wears on Sleeping Madness promo pictures on ebay, haha). The past costumes by Satoko Shimizu were pretty amazing, so why isn't he using her talent anymore? Because she still seems to be on his team, but as a sales manager only?

haha "on his team" is one way to put it

I'm going to be brutally honest here.
I think Shuva is mainly a way for him to make Waiha monies, so they don't put a lot of time or effort into it.
The missus is probably not going to sit around sewing costumes for him to use a couple times and then throw out.

I still refuse to believe that they are doing Schwarz Stein mainly for money. Not that I'm naive, I just don't think they are making that much money out of it :P Even though they could, if only they wanted to. I mean, look at how few lives they have! (And what's so good about Hawaii anyway?)

I wouldn't be suprised if he looked like in the photos at the lives XD Gives him a reason not having to speak, and I bet he can get his arms out somehow. I hope he looks like that, I want chekis XD

They would be a silent duo with Mana-sama. Not sure if that would work though. If 2/3 of the artists were mute? Isn't it a bit too much of... muteness? Also, I get the impression that Hora actually likes to talk. He absolutely enjoys saying mean things to Kaya and the audience! :P

You've seen Hora's blogs though, right? He pretty much goes there to shop for sneakers, eat tons of American food court food, and so on XD Plus I have it on good authority that the sea is enjoyed in the House of Hora.
On top of which, there's enough of a Japanese resident and tourist population in Hawaii that they'll cater to Japanese speakers. That's probably one of the reasons (along with distance) that he doesn't go to Harlem nearly as often as Hawaii.

Oh, you mean that one?

Yes, I am reading his blog, but it still amuses (and baffles) me that someone should go to Hawaii to buy sneakers and eat American food :P

Rare and expensive sneakers are Hora's thiiiiiiing though, I have no trouble believing that he'd go overseas for them. Especially since by all indications, rare (or even not-so-rare) sneakers cost many times more in Japan than here. When I tried to replace my Lebrons, I searched online and there were Japanese places that wanted like $500 for a pair, when I ultimately paid $110-ish.

I have no contribution to this other than that I almost fell off my chair laughing.
Curses, $500 Lebron kicks, curses! XD

Oh wow, I didn't know sneakers were so much more expensive in Japan. So in the end it all boils down to this. Sneakers. How many pairs of sneakers does he already have?! (Hey, that's an in-store event question!)

Also, I'm in no position to judge Hora's Hawaii/sneakers-mania, seeing as how I myself moved to Japan just to have access to my favourite bands :P

I should clarify that I'm talking about "out-of-print" sneakers here, I don't think retail sneakers are wildly expensive. Or at least, no more so than all clothes in Japan are.
