If you don't care about design or workmanship.
What if you have bills to pay and you think $350 for a dress is a stupid waste of money?
Then you don't buy $350 dresses.

No, I meant that maybe it's not that we don't care about design or workmanship, but that we don't think that dresses are worth spending a lot of money on.

well it's a question of opinion and passion!
Some people will prefer to have a very expensive car and buy cheap clothes , others will prefer to have expensive clothes but only a fonctional car ^^!

I really have problem to spend so much money in one dress but the only time i did it i was so much impressed by the quality of my MmM dress that when i'll find a dress i love as much again i'll buy it ^^!

watch it's when I'm friggen 40 and no longer give a shit about Moi dix mois...*sighs*.....

This! I completely agree! Some will prefer expensive car or spend million in interior design, others will prefer to spend their money in clothes (like me XD)
But it's only a matter of taste.
And as Geisha said, Moitié stuff are rather good quality, I never had bad suprise with it. The price is "justified" since they are not a huge brand (so they don't produce thousand of items), they manufacture teir own buttons, fabric (which for the most part are 100% polyester) lace, ect. Of course you also pay for the Name but I do'nt think it's SO expensive if you compare with other brands.

Adonis, it's not only a matter of taste.. It also depends on how money you earn actually... I wish i could spend thousands to buy a car or spend hundreds to buy MmM, but you know.. Not everyone has a lot of money...

The alternative is simple enough : either he gets older or he dies. Which do you prefer?

I love old people, especially old musicians, so the more Mana ages the more I like the guy. ::meev::

somewhere except here... ok, a clue... Mexico
^ i'm completely agree!

i really dislike those people who says that when musicians get older they're out of coolness. That's extremely wrong. I love old musician/artists as well.... anyway they have a feeling like they never get really "old".

I think Mana and I would both choose death over age.

I never met him, only saw him onstage, but I still think you're wrong. Which doesn't mean I don't understand age IS a problem when a large part of your image lies in your looks. Now, Mana is very intelligent and gifted, so I have no doubt his true fans won't turn their backs on him because his looks are not as good as they used to be. People love and respect him an awful lot, you know?

I know that if Mana gets old he'll figure out how to look well conserved.

Look at Takamizawa :]

He looks awesome and if nobody says so, you'll not know he's 55 :)
But as MissUMana says, fans are fans, they respect Mana, not only his looks :)

Edit: I recognize that might not be a recent Takamizawa picture, but w/e I saw him on V-Rock festival and still didn't notice he was that old, lol

I don't think he has aged noticeably since I first saw him at Japan Expo in 2004 (not that he looked like 20 then, but certainly very well preserved). If you see someone only once every 2 years or so changes are usually pretty obvious, so any signs of ageing must be very subtle. You can also tell from Madousho (and the pic from the VK mook that I posted in the Dis Inferno thread) that he still looks as good as he used to in the older GLBs. That's why people are frustrated with the heavy-handed photoshop in this mook and the GLB – he doesn't need that much editing. Just a bit to make his skin look less male (his stubble is quite noticeable up close, same with Kaya, Hizaki & Co) would be enough.

Obviously, sooner or later he will start to look "old", but that shouldn't change people's appreciation of his talent as a musician, composer, designer. :)
