Let's move the discussion of how Europeans are crazy to a new thread, it's kind of off-topic here.
(they really are crazy though XD)

Well, one reason would be that it's not everyday Gackt has concerts in Europe....so why not do some old songs?Konayuki wrote:Madmoiselle_Silk wrote:Did he play Illness Illusion then? Why should he dust off songs he's "ignored" for years just because it's a tour in Europe?.. This question isn't only directed at you, just at members in general because I noticed lots of people being so focused on these old songs that don't fit YFC at all... I enjoyed all the rockers in the setlist, great choices and a great mix of "classic Gackt" and "Gackt of the NOW". I wish he'd left in White Eyes though!
He didn't pass out in Bochum, fortunately.. but you could tell he was very worn out.
Bochum was good, but I enjoyed the Japanese concerts more because the atmosphere and fan participation was better. People's level of support for Gackt seemed closer to mine in Japan, and I enjoyed talking to random people I met there, while I didn't feel the need to in Germany. It's probably the language barrier (my Japanese is way better than my German ).
I hope he comes back soon, hopefully with a more grand-scale tour and surely a less rock-oriented setlist. He's said that starting next year, they'll be focusing a lot on overseas activity and promotion, which is all without doubt tied in with Bunraku hitting theaters. I'm sure he'll bring a setlist full of new songs and material that hasn't been released as of yet, so I'm looking forward to it.
