"Vampire Hunter D - Medieval Song"

I have heard this song bundled in many Malice Mizer and Gackt related topics yet I cant find any evidence of this song actually relating to them nor Vampire Hunter D. I even found the song listed on Youtube as "Glay - Medieval Song". I know Malice Mizer, Gackt, and Glay didnt all come together to produce a song for Vampire Hunter D w/o such a thing being strongly noted in history somewhere on the web.

I know the first OST for Vampire Hunter D was composed by Tetsuya Komuro(his first solo project). If the song is even accurately from Vampire Hunter D(maybe a cover) then its to be noted that TK is the composer of the song(but I dont remember the song from the anime though it sound similar).

Any ACCURATE insight is welcome.

Hello! I too have been searching for this for twelve years, and I have found the answer!!!

The YouTuber Whang did a video about this, and someone in the comments linked to the original song, which is part of the Vampire Princess Miyu soundtrack. It’s called “Armored Apparition’s Time of Death”. You can listen to it here:

So it’s not a Gackt song, not a Malice Mizer song, not a Glay song, and not from Vampire Hunter D. Yay, mystery solved! ^_^

I don't have my headphones with me right now, but the soundtrack for Vampire Princess Miyu was composed by Kenji Kawai.

Yep, you're right. I checked the Japanese Wikipedia for Vampire Princess Miyu and Kawai Kenji is the composer
