Okay! So All Hallowed's Eve is upon us! You can dress up now and post pictures or wait until the day-of and post them. Also, what are your plans?

For after the day: Post pics! ;D Also, tell us your stories of what happened while you were out!

As for me, I doubt I'll be dressing up, but I do plan to go ghost hunting! ::squee::

It's still a week away! ::meev::

I won't be doing anything. I was gonna go see World/Inferno Friendship Society for their Hallowmas concert, but my brother has work unfortunately, so we'll be seeing them in November instead.

We don't really celebrate Halloween a lot here. Several commercial companies did a lot of advertising in the late 90s in order to make us adopt it. But it really came out of nowhere and seemed fake, as really NO one cared about Halloween until the year before. It lasted a few years, but since one or two years it's already vanishing. A few people still do Halloween, but we don't hear a lot about it before it comes, and the Halloween business makes less and less money.

I even forgot it was in a few days until that thread came up.

I'm so lazy that I'm going to cheat this year! I'll be an "antique doll"...that's fancy talk for "I need an excuse to wear lolita clothes to school, and I don't feel like making a real costume." I'm going to do doll-like makeup though, the kind where you paint your lips on smaller than they actually are so they look sort of fake (that doesn't really make sense, does it? ::shifty:: ). I'll post a picture the day after...maybe. Depends how it turns out. ;) Last year I didn't dress up, and the year before I was some wierd gothic thing. There's not a lot to do on Halloween unless you're a kid (or you have kids). I'd like to see a ghost, that would be cool.

I was going to go to my school's Illustration Halloween Pub, but I didn't get myself a ticket in time, so that plan sunk. I didn't have a costume in mind anyway, so I suppose it's alright.

I'm so excited this year for Halloween because I'm putting much more effort into my costume this year than I did last year. (It was a very poor day before type of thing. Halloween didn't feel like Halloween because of it.) This year, I am doing it right! I was going to go lolita (or as close as I could make it to looking Lolita), but I have found something equally as good for me. Happiness. I always have such fond memories of Halloween as a kid.

I actually went to a halloween party last weekend xD We couldn't have it any other time... But I didn't really wear a costume, just dressed up in completely white and put some bloody bandages on different places. My friend was a doctor and I was supposed to be her patient.. eh. We kinda failed. x) But we made our things the same day.

I want to make a pumpkin dress (found an awesome printed fabric...) for halloween but I don't have the money to make it right now ._. I'll probably just dress up as.. something I find in my wardrobe <_<' If I find a halloween party, that's it. It isn't really accepted to go trick or treating if you're more than 10 years old, you won't get anything :p (((buuut we went easter... eh.. something, last year, and got tons of candy  It's a bit like trick and treating but in easter and you dress up as a colorful witch instead. I don't know if this is only here though.)))

I'm going to be wearing THE MOST AWESOME HELMET EVER! (Optimus Prime helmet) To my company on Halloween and go around saying various quotes from the movie/cartoon. It'll be fun :P Maybe get a lazor gun and zap people? :P Nerf gun would BE AWESOME though but...eh might make someone butthurt.

Soooooooooo other then that, I also entered in the company's pumpkin carving contest. I'm pretty bad at carving though so it won't be anything great but it'll be fun. I won't enter the costume contest though because my costume will just be that helmet. I cannot find an Optimus Prime outfit in adult size. I saw a kids one but no adult ones, or I'm just not looking hard enought.

Anyway, other then that. I'll probably be at home and handing out candy to like the maybe one or two kids that come. We get less and less kids each year.

*edit*

Forgot but I'll be going to my friend's birthday party, she was born on the 28th and celebrating it this weekend. It's always a costume/Halloween themed party. We usually just sit around, play video games, draw (She's my art buddy) and watch movies.

I might wear the same thing I wore to my Halloween dance, but I don't know.

I don't have any pictures of the dance until I develop my camera, though.

Since I have class till 6pm I can't really do much... BUT!!!

It fell on the perfect place since the next pages I have to pencil for my comic for class include the nightmare sequence I was planning so I hope to get it done by then :D Me and my best bud are going into class both dressed as V from V for Vendetta :D
(If you haven't read the comic, please do! It's so awesome :D Even though I love the movie as well. )

I'm going as Sadako from the Ring, and I'm going to still attend night school while dressed up...

Which also means going on the Transit system like that. >D

You're a nut. ::meev:: Thats awesome.

I wanted to go through the subway with my mask and hat on as well for my V outfit but I decided to just put it on before class in the room because it'd be a bit hard to see. XD Too many people, I'll get trampled.

The hair's gonna make it hard for me to see... and I think I need to get my hands on more make-up.

How heavy is your mask?

It's not too heavy, its plastic but its not cheap either. Problem is my ride to school is an hour long and my rides are usually very cramped because its New York so I really don't want to wear that since my face is somewhat small so it covers my eyes a bit if I don't fix it properly.

I have to work that evening, but since they're letting us all dress up I am going as my alter-ego Kinkerbelle :D Again.

My co-worker Dawn is currently trying to track down a bullwhip, pixy or butterfly wings, and a pair of handcuffs for me. The first and last were stolen by an ex before I broke up with him a couple years ago. The wings I have are kind of... not as nice as they used to be.

I already have glitter eyelashes and lots of leather and crazy jewelry XD so I just need those three things mentioned above.

One thing is for certain- Tips are going to kick vast amounts of ass that night. If I can, I'll snag pictures, but my camera is teh broken D:
