Hehe, fun when you know who you bid against. So you bid together and split the items?
Not really, we buy for the group. No one has shown any possessiveness yet, and I hope it keeps like this. ^^'

The "Apres Guerre" scans we've already had for a while:
(...)

And no, those are not Mana and Kozi's actual real names XD
I'm fairly sure someone's scanned "Imperfection" #3 at some point as well, but it wasn't me.
And here I was thinking I would finally contribute to Scape... .-.

You can still translate it if anyone's patient enough to decipher their terrible handwriting XD I sure wasn't.

A new, sealed (!) Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U VCR:

For anyone who does video capture this is about as good as it gets. I'm almost tempted to pick this up in case mine ever breaks.

Ohh it has a s-video output, I've been looking for one with that but it seems I'll have to import it to my country. :/

Wait, don't all VCRs have that? ::kozi:: But yes, you absolutely need to be using S-Video.
Is it time for the A/V nerd thread? XD ::batsu::

I don't know out there but here (Colombia) it's not common to see a VCR, not even a VCR with s-video xD (most common are mono and composite)

I would love to watch a new HQ rip ::squee::

There are a few places around that do VHS transfers, I called up asking if there was any issue with it being a Japanese tape but they weren't sure. I'm not certain of what 'features' I should be on the lookout for either.

The black level is slightly different between Japanese NTSC and American, so for a really perfect capture you'd need a device that can be configured for one or the other.
