Since everyone hates the write-up for the album, I'm challenging all you scape members to make a better one. We'll select the one we like the best, and use it on our website for the pre-order campaign. The winning writer will win themself a free copy of the new 2disc set.

What do you have to do? Make us a write-up about the album. Describe it so people can get an idea of what this is, if they've never heard of MxM before. Not too long, but not too short.

Send your submissions to contest@wreckords.com
Include your name, scape message board name, Your mailing address, e-mail address. The contest closes at 11:59 PM, Sunday evening, Pacific Standard Time. We will then select a winner, and it will be used for the pre-order campaign which will be added to our site somewhere around 4:00am Monday. Probably.

I just sent mine. I don't expect to win, but It was fun to write it. I've got everything the CD has anyways. :P So, if I don't, not harm done! If I do, then I complete my collection. :D! That's always good.

I hope the 2CD package includes the cover art of the three singles.

:? There are two hours left and I want to enter... but I have NO idea what to write. I mean, Moi dix Mois is the only band of its genre that I have ever listened to, so I can't exatly compare it to some other bands... Bah. I don't feel like I'm articulate enough...

I'll let you guys know when I wake up tomorrow.
:?

Just got home from DJing. It's like 5:25am. Totally brutal night. We got shafted pretty hard by the new club owners. I skimmed through the latest entries real quick right now and realized I'm too tired to read them carefully. Some awesome stuff in there though, definitely looking forward to it. I'm also snooping around the warehouse here to see if I can find some consolation prizes for everyone as well.

Night guys. ::coffee::

I know how a night of DJing goes, especially when you have angry club-goers mad at you because you won't play The Smiths. :D

Take your time. :D

Ahh! I feel like I'm about to burst with anticipation. But as Priss said, take your time. We can take the wait.

I just have to keep telling myself that whether I win or lose, it was fun participating. (And it was. It's just that, you know, it'd be even more fun to win. :P )

Haha same here. I've checked this site like 15 times so far this morning :P

And yeah! I rarely get a chance to write about things I enjoy, so I had a fun writing it.

After a lot of reading, and re-reading we have decided on a winner. It was a tough choice, as we enjoyed all of the entries, and it was really tough to make the final decision. After a long morning, several cups of coffee, a fist fight and beatings with sacks of trash, the Wreckords staff finally voted on Ken's entry.

You can see his winning "essay" on the pre-order page, which is now up and running.

Thank you to everyone who entered! It was a very tough choice, and it makes me sad that there could be only one.
