I find it odd that he sings all these love songs and has deep love songs that are very well written and beautiful, yet he thinks marriage isnt a big deal and if you feel like cheating then you should, which I highly disagree to the greatest extent. It seems like he makes those love songs, but he himself doesnt really understand what true love is, or has a very high opinion of what love should be.

Marriage isn't that big of a deal these days, I think :P. Isn't it about a 40% divorce rate in the States? That's really, really bad. And besides, why do you need a ceremony to say that you will forever love someone until the day they die? Why not just love them, and not have to prove it to anyone but yourself and your partner?

No; just from his songs he must have a high opinion of love. No man that could create such moving ballads and work so hard for it have a skewed idea of what love is. ...Although, love is also a bit ambiguous.

It's more about 50%, as if that's any better. And... well, call me old-fashioned, but I kinda like the concept.

They would not leave them at peace if that ever happened! :|

Haha, I can see it happening.. if that's gonna happen.

Poor future Gackt bride. .-. (if ever he's gonna marry again, that is.. you never know.)
She's lucky, but.. she has to be prepared by the fangirl-mauling. XD

And what does Gackt's blood type have to do wiff anything? o.o

I like it too, I mean, if you can do something to let everyone know, hey, this person is mine, then why not. I want to proclaim my love to every nanometer of this universe. Its quite sad the state of marriage today and most people show this by complete lack of morals.

Well, people may dislike him because of petty reasons like "He's so weird",
"He looks like a girl", and so forth. I find that almost as irrational as disliking
others because of their blood type.

Actually, disliking people based on their blood type is a convenient and common practice. :-*

Doesn't the Japanese do that? They get to know their blood type from the school's health
examination, I heard. Honestly, I can't see how that would work in North America since most
people don't even know theirs to start off with. Even if that's the case, that's still unreasonable.
I think if people are going to hate certain people then they should have a hard fact why that is so.

All the people I lived with while I was there were really surprised I didn't know my blood type; it's like the Zodiac to them. And I'm sure they DO have good reasons why they wouldn't like such-and-such a person, but the blood-type thing is a polite excuse. :-*

I understand now. Thanks for clearing that up! People using weak excuses as an indirect way
of saying "I don't like that". . . that would be one of my friends (laughs)

...um...just a thought. I'm the most romanticistic idealistic person EVER when it comes to love...

and I don't like marriage, and I don't see a problem with going out with multiple people at a time (though I might not). Think about your parents; do you think they were is romantically boring as they are now before they got married. When people get married, they're kind of forced to change.

So I can't blame him for thinking that way.

If by going out, you mean on dates, in the generally accepted definition of the term, I see no harm in that, if it's just a date. But, I would have to disagree with you on the idea of having multiple romantic relationships with people, if that's what you meant. That would be a blatant act of disregard/disrespect to all of your partners at the time, and it would also show them a lot about how you truly feel and care. (By "you" I don't mean you, XD I mean an individual who would do such a thing.) Now, if someone has genuine feelings for two people, that that is different, but that person really shouldn't attempt to pursue a relationship with both.

I don't like him because of his "I'm too cool for school" image... Well, obviousely he got out of school some time ago, but I think you understand what I mean. I don't really like to assume that he is doing this purposely, on the intent that he wants to be "untouchable" by the general public, but he is doing a very good job in coming off this way to me. Sometimes I want to kick him in the face >< I'm done ranting now!! So it's safe to loosen the straps and whatnot...

 That made me laugh more than it probably should have.

I've wondered what he got for marks at school . . .
He was probably absent half of the time playing his piano and such.

People are mad because MMs best work was with gackt, and since he left them, they hate him now.

Or.. not. People have given many valid reasons. And btw, reviving old threads is against the rules.

I don't know if I ever REALLY hated Gackt.
But in some point I guess I kept repeating to my friend "Gackt is so terrible, how can you like him?" without any good reasons.
After my music taste has widened I have started to like his music more. Especially songs like Seki Ray, Todokanai ai to shitteita... and Tsuki no uta.
He isn't that bad. I like watching his interviews and other TV appearances a lot.

I used to hate him, because I got my eras mixed up. I thought Klaha was the original singer for Malice Mizer, then left, then Kami & Gackt joined. I hated him, because I thought he used Malice Mizer to become popular and didn't even care about Kami's death. But when I got it all cleared up, I didn't hate him. The only thing I'd dislike about him is his music. xD

...Though I do like the song "Vanilla"...o.o
