How does his hair make him a beginner? Hair makes your judgement on someone? That's pretty.. ignorant. If anything, Mana told him to try a more aggressive look because K certainly did NOT look like that when he was in GRAND ZERO. I really just don't understand your logic behind what you're saying.

I agree that it's most likely Mana.

One thing that's kind of weird is the Japanese version of the CD doesn't show nearly that much of his face. I just dug through all my CDs to check, and yeah. It only shows like a shoulder on the Japanese version.

Also, I highly doubt it was foreshadowing to a new vocalist. At the time NOCTURNAL OPERA was released there was no talk of Juka even leaving the band.

Yes, I also agree with those who think it's Mana. Hhm, for me there was no question that it's Mana, when I first spotted this pic, to be honest. I just thought that since Mana is already completely shown on the back of it (holding this book) what sense would it make that he appears a second time on the back cover. Might sound weird, I agree, but it seemed logical to me, back then^^;.

It has been edited I'd say, the strand which looks like light blue is black now (for example). I also believe to recognize those three "points" he has there on his clothes (the last two are buttons, could that be?). Don't they look exactly like those points on the pic which Demanufacturer posted?

and now that i've seen that pic you placed there, i thought that the hair was similar too, xcept the NO version is not as blue as the ST version (the pic yo posted)

Hhm, could also be possible. I think I rather tend to the buttons solution though . Ah, it's frustrating to not know it for sure. On the other hand...maybe we just shouldn't worry too much? ^^; *sigh*.
