So? I was a Malice Mizer fanclub member when I was nine. (Thank you, Grandma. lol). If you have the money, why on earth should they have a problem with it? It's your money, and if you choose to spend it on something they don't think you need, then it's their own problem.
I think the particular issue here is that Mon+Amour International only accepts credit cards, which most 13-year-olds don't have. Or at least they didn't in MY day. *waves cane*

I had my first debit card when I was 13, thats how I got my MA membership.... but that's not the point.

Couldn't they just... give the money to their parents and have their parents use the credit card? Oh I don't know how that would work... gah...

I give up. I'm not gonna try anymore. This is getting kinda offtopic anyway.

Actually, that's how I work with my parents when I need a check for something. It isn't a big deal to do that. Good idea. I was going to suggest that, too, but then seeing that M†A standard is only $45 I thought it wasn't so bad as to need that...

When my dad was still really really paranoid of using credit cards on the internet, we actually went to Rite-Aid and got a pre-paid Visa card so I could join this Chinese band's international fanclub. :/

I also got a job when I was 14 years old, try working 16 hours on the weekends (and almost everyday on your school vacations) then going to school. That's how I used to pay for stuff (my parents wouldn't pay for shit).

*EDIT* I feel like this!

About the whole FC-joining thing being too expensive (asides from $45 for a year not being expensive to begin with)... I don't know. If I wasn't a mon+amour member, I could probably buy myself new pants. Or I wouldn't be working as a teaching assistant.

I think those who set their priorities so that they can pay a membership, should get the priviledge. One of my top priorities is staying a mon+amour member (my absolute top is seeing my girlfriend once a year).

You could earn that priority by cleaning nine cars for 5 dollars each. I'd do that without hesitation if that was what it takes. If you'd rather talk more on your cellphone for that money or buy yourself shirts or magazines, do that, though. However, those who put mon+amour before such things or are willing to work towards their membership should then also get the priority treatment.

Almost certainly. I didn't ask the name of whoever's running the account on this forum, but the IP address matches his location - and honestly I doubt he has any employees/staff.

Why would Midi:Nette work with this douche in the first place if it was just one guy? That just screams shady to me.

Or maybe Midi:Nette just never thought to ask, "Hey, are you really just one guy pretending to be a touring company?" XD
