Some people will swear by their sneakers...and I need a new pair for running. Just wondering which people use/would recommend, etc.

I can't vote because I'm confused. Nike look cooler, but I've heard better about Asics and New Balance and looove my Buffalo sneakerboot sneakers...boots.

I don't wear sneakers. :|

Yeah. I'm lame, but sneakers make my feet hurt like hell!

I can wear 5 inch stilletos like nothing. I'll run, jump, climb Mt. Everest in them. Anything flat kills my feet, so I need to have a heel for all my shoes.

I usually wear Converse and have several pairs of them but I also own a pair of adidas and Nike sneakers plus an awesome pair of steel toe silver Sketchers work sneakers. My vote went for other.

I don't really have a preference, as long as they look cool. :p

But if you're looking for running shoes, New Balance is without question the most comfortable.

I usually hate the way sneakers look and how much they cost, so I don't buy them (and I run barefoot! ::kisaki::)

But I recently heard that going barefoot can run you the risk of getting worms or fungus (though I'm not sure it's all that high when you're on pavement, and I always wash my feet afterwards, but whatev), so I'm starting to reconsider

I usually wear Converse, so Nike.

My current shoes are Converse rip-off Airwalks, though, but only because I couldn't find the converse I wanted.

Actually, I did find the ones I wanted, but only one of them was there (display shoe), and the store people apparently didn't know where there second one was.

My gym/exercise shoes are New Balance, because they are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned.
My parents own New Balance sneakers and they love them! XD I used to have them too and they're really comfy. They last a while too.

I currently have Asics sneakers, and they're great. They're my first pair of Asics and they've lasted me for a couple of years already! XD Before that I usually had Nike but then I stopped buying them for some reason.

I don't have an allegiance to a sneaker because I usually just base my decision on whether they're pretty and comfy or not ::gaku::

Converse (low tops only), and the old boot-like Sketchers.

Other than that, any and all lolita boots.

I normally don't wear sneakers. I guess if I went to a gym I'd probably get a pair. I'd most likely end up getting Nike, because I tend to like the designs better, but I'd try others too.

Normally though, I wear a dressier shoe. They're kind-of like a cross between a sneaker and a dress-shoe? It's like being comfortable but still wanting some style. I don't know shoes, and honestly it's a pain buying them, so I don't have many.

Nice poll though, I was thinking I should get a new pair of shoes recently. :P

edit: Just for example, these are the types of shoes I tend to fall for. I really want a pair of these, but I always try on shoes before I buy them...so hopefully I can find a pair in one of the stores soon.

Same more or less - When I started this pole I forgot people wear sneakers on an everyday basis XD
Sorry I overlooked Converse.

I'm just about always wearing 4" wedges/stilettos or some form of boot...mostly because Karen Millen pants are cut long and I refuse to get them altered or wear anything else.
When I do wear non-excersize sneakers, they're the boys light up Sketchers or my limited edition gold Nikes ::kisaki::

I also run 20-30 miles a week and don't want to prematurely sprain anything, so I'm thinking New Balance might be the way to go?

My friend's got these awesome sneakers. They're leather with flames down the side, but I fall over a lot in them.
