I dont know actually. I do get images when I hear the music, but nothing solid enough to actually write down :/

lol, when I play M10M and I'm in a silly mood, I think of the pictures in the cd booklets and like, other m10m pictures moving...like, animated .gif style XD!

-_-!!!@!@!!!~

perish gives me the feeling of juka being chained up (wearing bloodied and dirty white things) in a dark damp dungeon...singing whilst looking up through the one barred window at the tall dark tower where innocent white lolita mana sit in a room...and a feather falls from the sky and lands infront of juka...and he looks above to the top of the tower...where the dark black mana sits looking out from the balcony with a huge white moon behind him.
and the clouds roll in and cover the moon and ... yeah ::zzz::

Hmm...when I hear The Prophet, I see a M10M video
game-type thing going on .....(the song just sounds
kind of like game music to me )...^^;

When I hear "the Prophet" I think of Mana with his scythe exploring the dungeons of a castle....

Hehe... when I first heard the Prophet I said the exact same thing... and I didn't exactly like it, either, but now I love it! ^_^ the Prophet is a very... cinematic song, and I LOVE it! ::dix::

OMG good one! Now I'll picture that every time I listen to Perish, damn you! XD

Hehe this thread is fun! We should all collaborate and direct Moi dix Mois' movie when they finally decide to do one (like MALICE MIZER's Bara no Konrei...) ;)

Monophobia gives me the mental images of an eternal struggle, two forces fighting and competing against one another, then halfway through the weaker one wills the strength to win... only go be left with a feeling of happy yet empty relaxation... life losing a lot of meaning as the struggle was removed at their own hands.

maybe that's just me though...

Usually when I listen to M10M I kinda have the image of something dark and beautiful. If I don't feel that, I feel nothing, it usually drains me of emotions, so I listen to it most when I'm stressed or am really depressed ad crap.

More than seeing things, I have lots of memories of myself (don't worry, I don't think my ego is bigger than Mana's)...

But I have some random images of Mana in a few songs, specially in Shadows Temple, with Mana lying in that old cemetery with his awesome scythe... and in the Prophet I imagine Shao Khan (The bad guy in Mortal Kombat, outstanding) and his servants marching in the underworld and etc.
Oh and in Vizard I can see some Castlevania images too (and with lot of other M10M songs really, but this specially)

Yea it really depends on the song, I'll go w/ Dailouge Symphany (For future notice, please excuse all my frequent spelling errors :( )

For this song, I think of Mana sitting at a grave stone in a dark moonlit night. Then all of the sudden Mana looks up, and the sky parts then all of the sudden a huge circle of purpalish ligt surrounds Mana, and then Mana gets her neato Guitar and starts banging on it! As she she's all these spirits and zombies, the only way to ward them off, is with her song. And then, all of the sudden, a good spirit comes up to Mana, and they touch for a brief second, and the spirit has leave, the spirit whants to stay but it has to go for some reason, Mana gets very upset, and starts to play her guitar even harder as she tries to get the spirit to come back to her. Mean while All the other band members are incercaling Mana doing their music thing. And things continue to gon on... I wouldn't whant to bore you with the rest ^^

Each song has a story. That is just one of the things that goes on in my mind when I listen to this song, the more litteral picture that comes to mind. But when it comes to emotions, I just can't put it into words. Dosn't that sux?! Well, I mean, its insperational, thats all I can really relate it to. Each song is so butefull! It would take me countless hours of thinking to even barely put what I feel into thoughts. So I'm sorry If I couldn't be more specific, but Its hard :(

hehe, yea, I know, but you know, its hard, after being in a screwed up orginization called the MFW, and we were required to call Mana a girl, its a hard habit to bread. Ill try to call him a him more often :P

And thanks on the welcome, hopefully, this won't be like gaia -_-

Well, the images he includes with the booklets, I think they're meant as illustration to a story, just like the lyrics are narration, the music is a soundtrack, etc. o-o

Exactly my toughts. That's not to say you can't use your imagination but I think that's the 'story' that Mana wants to bring across (sort of like a PV - just imagine it animated^^).

actually moi dix mois just makes me feel happy. perhaps it's because i don't understand japanese at all, so i can only hear the sounds and not the words, which i think have a pretty big influence on what you see in your head.

Check out the lyric translations at -scape-:

They are actually pretty depressing. ;)

yeah i read the translations, but then i get the images while reading the text and not while listening to the music. and even though i know the lyrics aren't that happy, the music still cheers me up somehow:)
