Yeah, I'm a vegitarian to prevent my money from going to factory farms, etc.

of course it still is since I eat eggs and dairy products, but I'm already underweight and I'm not smart enough to be vegan, I wouldn't know how much to eat, etc, so I didn't loose a ton of weight.

I also think that meat is yucky. I don't like finding balls of fat/cartilage or whatever that crap is in chicken, I think eating something covered in fat, not processed, decorated fat, just... meat with normal fat on it. I don't think anyones blood but mine tastes good [I like the taste of iron, I'm not OMGGAWTHVAMPLOLZ], and the texture of most meat makes me sick. ::meev::

Sadly, I can't cook tofu or really any soy (save for boiled soybeans) for crap. ::hora::

My parents must have known that I would turn out to be a vegitarian. When I was a kid, Cows were my favorite animals, I cried when I found out what meat was, I stopped drinking milk for a week when I found out what part of the cow it came from (nipples scared me), and I HATED the way most meat tasted. :|

An animal would eat me if it knew it would get away with it and not give a damn.

I have to get in first! You don't see lions emoing over people they ate!

I don't think that lions would ever see us as "Cute and cuddly".

...Well unless you're someone like Miruku. ::meev::

For the record, we're the only animals aware of mortality, other animals don't understand the concept of death or life.

other animals arent intelligent enough to know what they're doing beyond instinct.

I think animals understand the concept of death and life better than most humans do.

scientifically, they're unaware of what it means to die and what it means to live.

^ What do you mean by that?

I mean what I said in both posts. Humans have been scientifically proven to be the only animals aware of life and death.

Animals are aware of death.

A snake squeezes it's prey until it stops breathing.

Yeah, I think elephants and lions are aware of when their young or someone from the group dies.

I suppose that's why the mothers defend their offspring so much, to keep them from dying. If they weren't aware then they wouldn't care. Its motherly instinct.
