Looks like Kozi is bringing back DALLE and doing that band more regularly, for what it's worth:

This has apparently been around for some time, but he only linked it to his main twitter now.

And does anyone know anything about that VAMQUET project? Seems like it's just going to be another one of those live gig things.

Looks like they just released their first demo single? But their website is extremely incomprehensible and I can't find any information about anything o_O There's just some information that they retweeted from another source on Twitter. I guess it's going to be released on 12/3.

Kozi seems to be really busy with all his random bands:

11.08 新宿ReNY:DALLE
11.14 新宿Marble:E//+Z
11.16 高円寺High:ZIZ
11.18 池袋Chop:戯誰ç￾†å›³å¤¢
11.30 新宿Loft:ZIZ
12.03 渋谷Glad:DALLE
12.19 難波ROCKETS:ZIZï¼￾VAMQUET
12.21 新宿Loft:ZIZ
12.28 渋谷Chelsea Hotel:VAMQUET

I agree, he needs to get his solo act back together and start playing some of the classics. I am curious to hear VAMQUET and DALLE though, and 戯誰ç￾†å›³å¤¢, whatever that is o_O I know Kazu from The God and Death Stars because of his random work with Yukiya...

I wish he would get back to more solo stuff, too! That said I'm glad he's so active in music/art. He's seriously the coolest.

He had a lot of cool music, but he was at the top of his game when he was writing his solo music. (Well, to be fair, my favorite CD of his after MM is the Iazayoi no Tsuki score... That was a very good CD...!)

I don't actually own any of the XA-VAT or ZIZ CDs ^^; I would have liked more Eve of Destiny though; what with all the problems they faced, that band was a real wasted opportunity that could have gone on to much greater things.

Speaking of EoD, do you (or does ANYONE) have an idea what Haruhiko Ash is up to now?

I once read that he went back to civilian life and became an editor, but who knows if it's true XD
Personally I like to imagine that not only is it true, but he's an editor-in-chief, and uses his magazine as a sort of retirement home for former visual-kei stars XD ::ash::

Urban Dictionary has a startling amount of vital JRock information. Check out these gems about Mana:

Urban Dictionary wrote:
Frank: Wow that guitarist chick looks amazing!!!
Geoff: Thats mana and hes a guy...
Frank: oh...Well, like do you have any more videos of him?

Urban Dictionary wrote:
Holy Moi dix mois, Batman! It's Mana-sama !!

And this tidbit about Kozi:

DALLE is now on YouTube and it seems to be a serious project.

Their first demo EP "FENCES" will be released on 12/3 at Shibuya GLAD

Cool! Thanks for the link!

It's not a bad song, but it feels very generic 90's VK. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like when you have Kozi in your band, he should be throwing in his Kozi-isms that make things unique. There was a bit of it, but if you hadn't told me Kozi was involved, I wouldn't have known. It also didn't really feel as gothic and dark as the website made it look. I like the vocal line though, so I'll give the E.P. a try when it comes out :)

They kind of remind me of Dir en Grey during their visual kei days, which isn't a bad thing. The song is pretty catchy, though I agree with Wandering_Fox, if you told me Kozi wasn't in it, I'd believe you, doesn't have his 'flare', or at least not in this song.

I've got a friend going to one of these concerts, he just told me that Kai (from Art Marju Duchain) is the vocalist and SADIE PINK GALAXY(from XA-VAT) are also in the band with him, so it should be a pretty cool project! I'm especially curious to hear this, knowing that Kai is involved!
