The CD (or at least a fair amount of it) is up on this official page:

Not too impressed though. I'd have been pretty disappointed if I bought it. Sounds like just another electronic disc.

Sounds a lot more like soft ballet rather than kozi solo..

Listening to the samples, for once I have to say that, while this doesn't look like something Közi would do, it still sounds better than more than half the songs on "Gift" thanks to Ken Morioka...

I should listen to Soft Ballet I guess haha

Thanks for the link! I'm listening to it now...
I sounds very... different...

I like Freakquency and sign.
I initially wasn't blown away by the others, however, after listening to them a second time, they are all growing on me <3

I know I came late to this party, but I have my opinions about Salon Du De'tester. As a Soft Ballet and Malice Mizer fan by different reasons, I was more than excited to know that Közi and Morioka were going to work together. So I really was looking forward to it.

As said before, Salon du De'tester is somewhat like "Közi meets Soft Ballet". Sounds like if Közi had some extra tracks in SB's 2003 album "Menopause". This doesn't make it any bad, tho. I find the album really entertaining. Közi sounds really clean and with improved vocals, and Ken Morioka does not let us down, as always. There's no song that makes me wanna skip it. The only way to find it boring is by not being into electronic music at all.
The only thing that disappointed me is that there are really few tracks. It would have been awesome if they did a full album.

My personal favorite track is Superbsaw. I'm still obsessed with it.

Thanks in advance Wandering_Fox!

(My HP laptop keeps giving hard drive error message, nervously backing up my files right now, hope it won't crash before I finished with the back up or can read your translation later.)

On 5/23, ZIZ will be playing at Shinjuku Loft with special guests Shinya (Dir en Grey) and Kaya (Femme Fatale)

Source - Twitter

There are a couple other lives planned for this year =-)

(Twitter was advertising Justin Beiber next to ZIZ's Twitter feed, so good luck un-imagining that ::meev:: )

These questions and many others will be answered on the next episode of Soap.

I was actually wondering about the new songs myself o_O Kozi hasn't really announced much when it comes to CDs and new recordings, so I was starting to wonder if ZIZ was going to be like Kozi's countless session bands that just kind of ended.

Did Kozi play any new songs when he did the Deep Sanctuary lives? Sometimes Dada mentions Kozi showing up at Dark Castle lives as "Kozi (ZIZ)", so I'm guessing that means he's playing periodically as a solo artist, and not just acoustic gigs...

But when I went to a Dark Castle even there were maybe 30 people in the audience, so I can't imagine that the numbers have changed much. (A fan jumped onto the stage, broke something, and the staff did nothing o_O I wonder if the staff just didn't care or what.)

I attended one of Közi's talkevents a month ago (I wasn't sure if anyone cared here, but now I thought it can't hurt to post :P).
I had no idea he even did stuff like that (it took place at the Naked bar shinjuku loft) The guests were ZIZ (Közi, Jiro and Chargeee) and a duo called bulb, that I never heard of.

It started by 7, Chargee rushed unto the tiny stage, followed by Jiro and then Közi. (Unimportant fangirl information: he looked awesome, black suit, kind of widelegged pants, and the inner of the jacket had a pattern in darkred. To that he had a white/red striped shirt, a black tie, and big sunglasses. His hair was similar to Dark Sanctuary, but a bit lower.)

There was a lot of talking and I didn't understand it all =( they had one fun bit though, in which every person had taken a picture! Közi's first was of his toiletpaper...which his cat had made a whole through! Yeah, looked like it put it's claw stright into it XD Közi had two more pictures, which was of toys for his cats, that he made himself.
At the end they were going to sing a song each (ZIZ and that other band), and they did Kosmostill in an acoustic version, and I have to say, I was so impressed by Közi. I mean he didn't start out as a singer, and now he sounds so amazing! He sounds good on the cd's but live, it was special. He didn't even look strained, he just sat there, so calmly and sang so amazingly. (I had a bit of a innerfangirl crisis from the amazingness)

At the end of the event, when they were going off stage he accidently steped on the cord to the mic (I think it was Közi and not Jiro who did), they both looked a bit suprised when the mic made the noise from falling ^^ Then he waved good bye and got off.
Right before they went off Közi had just lit a cigarette and I felt so tempted to run up and grab it when he left XD I didn't though...felt like yeah, it's probably a bit gross.... (during the 2h Közi had 3 drinks and about 3 cigarettes....fangirl counting >_>)

It was REALLY small, and so many were smoking, I sat by the exit so I could breath...even if it was hard x_x
