I'm fond of it! This is a crafty way to encourage the disuse of "net speak" or just poor language ::gaku::

But really, I don't think a spell checker would do much good because people here regularly use Japanese and other non-English words. It would just register a lot of false errors.
And as far as the poor language goes, I think the quality of language in a post speaks for itself quite well, so we don't need to impose any external constraints. Those who can't be bothered to write coherently will find that others can't be bothered to read their writing.

And so we are all connected, in the great circle of life ::gaku::

How puzzling... Do you mean that you're not getting the red lines beneath any misspelled words or nonsense typing, as I am? I wasn't suggesting the implementation of a spell checker; I was acknowledging that there IS one, that of which there is. :|

EDIT: And there isn't, after all... I have version 2.0 of Firefox to thank for making me look like I've gone completely mad. D:
