Well, I listened to Beyond the Gate. I have the limited edition on the way, but I wanted to hear it anyways. And here is my opinion of Seth. Some people will probably get mad that Im comparing Moi Dix Mois to Malice Mizer, but honestly, its like it in this sense.
I really liked Juka as a vocalist. He reminded me of his own singing flair with a mix of Malice Mizer era Gackt. I think he had a really good voice and I was saddened when he left. I will miss him in the band.
I was worried about Seth since people were saying they didnt like him as much, but I dont know where people were getting he doesnt have as powerful of a voice. If anything, his voice completely is way more powerful than Juka's.
I like Juka's appearance more, but I like Seth's voice better.
Now, I described Juka as this.
Juka+Malice Mizer Gackt = Equals Juka's voice.
Juka+Malice Mizer Klaha+More power in voice than Juka = Seth.
Im honestly very suprised. If you listen to Seth's voice, especially in Eternally Beyond, when he holds out his notes, Ill be damned if it doesnt sound like Bara no Seidou Klaha. He just has that powerful voice, with less vibrato than Klaha.
And just for funs sake, with all the MM comparisons I threw in. This cd sounds like the equivalent of Bara no Seidou for Moi Dix Mois. It reminds me of it but just alot heavier, and Im definately not freaking complaining. Im definately awaiting more releases with Seth now.
