Did it? I remember seeing trailers left and right, but I never saw an actual release in any theaters here (including small run art theaters). But I didn't specifially look out for it.

Thought it went the way of Hero. Which I saw a trailer for only a couple months of its original release in HK... never to be heard from again (til now).

NO, Shaolin Soccer actually came out last year in the U.S already.
(finally), the movie was supposely released at the end of 2002 or something, but MIRAMAX kept delayin it for hella long, until last year, which they finally got in into US theaters.

On top of that, the "HERO" that Quenten Tarantino is bring over is definitelly not a remake, but the ORIGINAL THING. OH YEAH.

Those of you who are interested should defintelly make an effort to watch it. IT'S TOTALLY JAW DROPPING!!!!!!!!! A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FILM. But for those who can't get to a close theater, you can get it on DVD or VCD in a chinatown near you. :)

Just saw the commercial right now. And it definitely says "presented by".

So how bad were the cuts to SS then? It is a really good movie and I would be sad if they cut it. :/
