Its in Japanese and there is also a comment video by Kaya. I assume no-one has heard it because there is no mention of it here.

What exactly does it say for those of you who read Japanese?

aww that interview was so cute. I like how in the end, he kind of panders to new listeners, like "hey i don't just do chanson"
a lot of the answers were kind of repetitive though...

Kaya: Many of them. As I told you earlier, I grew up listening to pop music, so I' d like to try classic pop songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Also, I' d like to try jazz and blues as well, and I would really like to do some musical songs, like "Over the Rainbow" or "Singing in the Rain."

Oh dear god, I hope this doesn't happen. I don't think even Kaya could make me want to listen to those horrible, horrible songs.

^ um..yeah

This year, I would like to keep myself active as a visual kei artist creating Gothic Trance music, and also as a singer who sings famous old songs as I did on "Kaya Meikyoku Series 1 Bon Jour Chanson" and so I would like to keep focus on these two directions.
gothic trance xD still good, that he doesnt think about leaving electronic music completely

Agreed. And since chanson usually consists of a strong signing voice it would be good if some of his songs retained his stronger voice like they did in SS.

You do not call those songs "horrible" ever, ever!

What is Kaya calling "gothic trance"? I wouldn't classify anything he's put out as being trance-ish ...

Kaya + trance would make this fan very, very happy ::k::

I'm starting to miss Schwarz Stein ...

I like singing those songs. But It's true that I like musical comedies and dances.
And so, I would be pleased that Kaya sang them ^^

Over the Rainbow was ruined for me when I was in an awful production of The Wizard of Oz. And I have always hated Singing in the Rain. =/ Just because it's a "classic" musical song doesn't mean I have to like it.

Unless you're a stereotypical gay man. Then you're legally, morally, and contractually bound to like it, or risk losing your member's pass to Stereotypical Gay Man Cafe.
