Quick question, I was watching the Moi Meme Moitie commercial from the Bara no Kiseki DVD and I was wondering if anyone here remembers the name of the string piece playing in the background. I believe it was composed by Bach, but I can not for the life of me find this particular piece. I'm sure it's a famous composition as I've heard it elsewhere... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please post a link and I'll see what I can do. I love Bach but I'm no expert.

Awesome!! That's it!! =D Thank you!!

For the longest time I thought this piece was by Mozart but then I was reminded that I heard it in the play "Bach in Leipzig" (which kind of works as a theatrical fugue, so to speak. The way the storylines weave together follows the principles of the standard fugue structure). Unfortunately, that was over a year ago and I've long since lost the program...

This is also a beautiful performance btw, I like how the conductor has interpreted it :)

At one point there was a site that annotated many classical compositions referenced in the music of Malice Mizer, but it looks like that site is long since gone ^^; Many of them were obvious, but it would be nice to have that list again, hahahaha
