I would mostly agree with you amasanin, if it were not for his booklets. They are very elaborate and still try to tell a story or at least have some very vivid imagery throughout. Maybe that is the extent of how far he is willing to go. Who knows. -__-/

Whee, Finally got mine. :D Little disappointed from the small, Mana-less booklet and Mana-less poster... now I know why I never buy singles! Oh well. It's a great song, and I love it just as much as I knew I would. It makes me happy.

I just... won't ever buy a single again. Like I told myself I wouldn't from the start. o_< Bad Mana, tempting me.

Be strong ;)

Most of his singles do have him pictured!! I don't know what went wrong this time, but you can be guaranteed Mana-y goodness in the next one... right?

I loved the Pageant single. Even though I only heard Pageant, I really enjoyed it!

I want MdM to come out with a new DVD like Scars of Sabbath, and they play all their songson Nocturnal Opera. That would be so cool. Can't wait to see what is in the future for Moi dix Mois! ::dix::

I got my Pageant single a few weeks ago, when it was released. I listened to it all day. I absolutley adore it. It was one of the major highlights for me during Scars of Sabbath. It was really good to hear it with CD quality.

Also, in regards to a PV, I haven't really heard any Moi dix Mois songs that I can see put into a PV. Aside from Pageant and Dialogue Symphonie, I have the perfect Idea for them too, but I wont get into that...well...maybe one.

Pageant:
It all takes place inside of a large church in Rome. There are two lovers sitting in front of the alter, which is having a potrait of the crucifixtion painted on the wall behind. One of the loves being Juka, and the other being Mana. Juka sings this to him, then the clock strikes twelve, Mana runs out the door of the church, Juka running after him and stands at the door....

"Zetsubou no kanata e..."

He also get clips of Father Kazuno thrown in. While outside it's raining, Mana for some reason falls to his knees, and Juka, being a gentleman, helps him up...

{Societe de Parente, anyone? :P}

"Mayonaka suugi no toke ni.."

The clounds begin to part and the light of the moon is shining rather bright.....According to the video, Mana has decided to stay with Juka and they walk off hand in hand...as the outro of the song plays.

----

Wow, that was a long post! Sorry about that.

Priss!

I think Mana generally has a different idea for M10M than he did for MM. Taking their lives as an example, a great deal of MM's theatricality is gone (if not completely gone) and I haven't heard Mana talk about specific concepts behind his work to such a degree (yes there is an idea of what kind of world the songs take place in but it doesn't seem to measure to the VK aspect of MM).

So IMO the reason M10M doesn't have a PV so far (or photobooks, or other purely visual oriented releases, or change their style that often) is because it's more of a pure music project rather that a VK project.
I agree - I don't really see M10M as a VK band either. I think Mana is basically just being himself and expressing different aspects of himself through his solo project. That's why I don't expect any drastically different "costumes" in the future either. Why he doesn't want to make a PV is anyone's guess but the CD booklets always tell a little story that you can make into a PV in your mind and as long as there are live DVDs I'm not too fussed about there being no PVs. :)

I was a bit disappointed about there being no new Mana pictures but on another level I also thought it was brilliant. All the people who were moaning about Mana always having to be in the limelight must have been very surprised! :P

This one was August I believe. We said no scans from the September one onwards.
