Buying Manga is REALLY a very expensive hobbie, and I know what i'm talking about -_-;;...Specially here, everything is so damn expensive ;_; ( i hate dollars, i hate the IMF...they don't let me buy more mangas anymore T_T)...

I have Wish! I bought the first one and I thought the storyline would pick up, but it didn't in the second one, so off it goes to someone who will like it better! Thanks for the luck, I shall need it at the rate this is going.

Yes, I splurged on all four Wish volumes....and then sold them
off to a good friend after I read them. >.>; Didn't quite make a
good story.....

Yep..Wish is not exactly the best manga ever...but i love Clamp and i have this uge to buy everything they release @.@...IF i can buy all those mangas....Already completed Clover, Card Captor Sakura, have Fushigi no Kuni no Miyuki chan...X-the movie- Artbook (wow, that one sure was expensive @_@Uu)..Angelic Layer...
RG Veda and X...those are the imposible ones for me ><Uu...

I know what you mean, I'm like that too! I love CLAMP's art and I have the compulsive need to buy everything. I find their stories are kind of the same all the time though....especially with the newer stuff.

wish was a major letdown, I must say. From what I've read of CLAMP, they seem to have a tendency for anti-climactic endings.

I don't buy manga as impulsively as I used to... but that's because I never seem to have money any more. Sigh, some new manga would be nice.

I just picked up the first volume of XXXholic by clamp. I love the costumes and desperately need the second volume. I really like CLAMP's art, but my favorite manga artist is Yuu Watase.

HOLIC!! I loved that. The only thing I didn't like was that it was coupled with Tsubasa. I liked them both, but I don't like how they go together...I hate it when books do that.

Manga is only an expensive hobby if you don't live in Japan... it's unavoidable, but it seems wrong how they charge over US$10 for a comic that originally cost about US$4 in Japanese. In Australia they charge up to $30 for translated mange because it has to be imported from America>_<;; Meanwhile, if you can read Japanese, you could can buy second-hand manga from Japan for about 100-yen or less a book... it's an aweful hassel, though>_>;;
