That's it?

Get a surgery so they can drill out the hole to be larger. :D

I have hip problems too, of a different sort. Oh yeah my legs can swing up to my head and feel not a pinch, but my hips crack, as in make a gruesome *KKCLICK* sound! *shudders* Embarrassing, oi! I should have it checked out and taken care of.

The thought of surgery, or the fact that the joints in my hips can crack?

Good I didn't gross you out there, I was worried

Baah, it's just a teensy little pinch! Can't hurt worse than childbirth...

On a more serious note, if there's a problem, fix it even if it temporarily hurts for a while afterwards. Although it's easier for me to say this to you, because I never let pain stand in the way of what I want, or what I stand for, for that matter. Then again I also never take painkillers :P

I don't really understand why so many people maintain Mana was "pissed off" when somebody asked him a question about Kami.
I had managed to get a good seat (right behind you Geisha, I think : I remember the little hat ! lol ^^) and I could see his face very well, but I didn't notice anything like this ! It was the audience who did react with a loud "ooooh", as if the girl had told something indecent.
Mana was surprised, that's true - the proof is he took a long time to find an answer- but it doesn't mean she shouldn't have asked this question !

I'm quite upset about this because when I left the room at the J-E I even heard some girls muttering "the b*** ! If it had been ME, I wouldn't have talked about Kami !" ... so what ? She was probably a huge Kami-lover, she had prepared her question, her voice was trembling when she talked and I found it more touching and interesting (I may be wrong but I think it's thanks to her we know one of the songs of NO is dedicated to Kami) than other questions that were a pure loss of time for everybody.

Another thing that bother me is the evolution of this story. I mean, look : here on -scape- it was first reported as "maybe the question was a bit rude", which is perfectly ok, but now it's almost "this question was so rude Mana could have left the room, thankfully he did not" : I'm sorry to be so categoric (and maybe rude myself), but that's definitely not true !

as i said, i couldn't really hear and still don't know what exactly she asked, but judging from the reaction of other people and the answer taking a bit long i thought she asked something wrong/too personal. and indeed if she DID ask a rude question, there might have been a chance that mana left.
call me a heard animal, but my french isn't good enough to understand all of it when people are speaking (reading is ok).

The Kami question was one of the few questions that I more or less understood at the time and I wasn't completely surprised that people were gasping (although I thought it was a bit over the top). I agree that maybe it is because of this question that we know that a song on NO is dedicated to Kami and that, of course, the girl who asked it meant no harm but I would have considered it too personal a question to ask. I think Mana's reaction spoke for itself. He just sat there for a while looking dumbfounded before turning to the interpreter, he then took ages to answer and I clearly remember the look on his face (when he turned back to the audience) as pained. -scape- is not the only place where people have been talking about this question. I have seen posts along the lines of 'he could have walked out' on other forums long before here. I don't think he would have done that but nevertheless I was wincing. The other thing I was wincing at was this guy loudly screaming 'yes' when Mana said that there was a chance that MM could reunite one day. I was hoping he wouldn't get the impression that people don't care about his current project.

for simpltons like Go it's easyer to hate someone than to love them. you can be close minded and automatically dismiss someone because of one tiny flaw (not that Mana has any), dedicate the time and energy to learn about someone and devote yourself to them.

Go's entitled to his opinions and whinings, same as everyone else I guess. Just as long as he doesn't say Mana should die :P Cause that's grounds for me sitting on his head. He did insult My Little Ponies though, and that was unacceptable...maybe he can't have an opinion anymore after all...

Anyway, where did he say anything bad about Mana? And where are these pictures (I only saw 2)? And what was the question the girl asked? I'm completely clueless...

oh. okay. But this thread isn't about Go.

Since I'm assuming you read his site a lot, do you know what everyone's talking about?

She asked something along the lines of whether Kami’s death was the reason for M10M not having an official drummer and, if he could give a message to Kami, what he would say to him. At that time, Tohru had already been promoted from support drummer to project member, so I felt the question was not only a bit insensitive but also pretty pointless.

Go is, of course, entitled to his opinion. I just wonder why he bothers to write lengthy reviews of something he obviously considers a waste of money. It is not like he is working for a magazine and gets sent these CDs to review whether he likes them or not – he must have actually made the decision to review them. Maybe it’s just me but I can think of much more worthwhile things to do with my time and energy than to spend them on something I *don't* like. His scathing review of Nocturnal Opera has mysteriously disappeared from jrocknyc but, FYI, here is his opinion piece on Shadows temple (unsurprisingly, he prefers Nightbreed – its simplicity probably appeals more to his metalhead sensibilities):

But let’s get back on topic - as you quite rightly said, this thread is not about Go. :)

oh yeah, that was the other reason Go could have an opinion. I forgot to mention he was a board member ^^

I agree with that review by the by; everything sounds like "Speed of Desperate Remix". Still shouldn't be dissin the Ponies though, man.

And Geisha, thank you :)

Don't worry, I'm watching this topic. *insert blue smiley*

But in the future, if anyone has concerns about what's going on in a certain topic, please direct them to me or another moderator privately rather than posting it. Thanks! :)

btw... taking a closer look at those pics, i think there might be a chance that i did see mana at the notre dame the day before the singing thing... of course it could've been someone else just as well, but i see quite some similarities. perhaps thats why he looked at me and my friend like that :P

His pictures for GLB 14 were taken in France if I'm remembering correctly, and J-XYZ has it for sale...... judging by the looks of the pics so far, Hoshi can't not buy GLB 14........ looks wonderful.........
