Oh my bloody god, I thought this was topic was about a tour Kaya had planned and my heart skipped a beat >>

Kaya has not got anything planned for Europe, otherwise it would have been mentioned on JaME or Kaya-Rose.com. He has mentioned that he would love to tour overseas again after his live in the US though, which is good news.

I imagine the tour would follow the same routine as every other vk band and go to France, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Finland and miss out England ;_; If he did that I'd be pretty pissed ><

An Cafe, LMC & Kana have visited England... Oh, and Dir en Grey ^^;; I'm actually quite surprised because I would say that overall the J-fanbase in the UK is quite big and people would flock from Wales, Scotland & Northern/Ireland to come and see their favourite bands perform in England. I'm quite happy to see that GPKISM have thought about coming to England and I would also love to see Moi dix Mois here too, because I think their quite popular here too. Maybe they are afraid that they wont be well received? Well if you keep ignoring visiting a place then you will never know.

However if Kaya were to perform overseas I would love to see a dramatic performance: He's major label and can probably afford to bring his dancers and a few small stage props (nothing on the Madonna/Malice Mizer scale would be expected from myself but maybe a few things) and I would be a bit upset if he didnt do so. I would also love to see an autograph/photo session and maybe a tour digest? I'm probably asking for too much XD

It would actually be easier for me to see a band in London than in Poland >.<

I pray for Kaya to visit Europe. That would be great. (Visit Cracow, Kaya, you'd love it XDDD).

Well, it is not just a question of Kaya wanting to come to Europe, it is also a question of organisers thinking that he has enough fans to recoup the cost of bringing him here. As J-music has become more recognised in Europe, it has been taken on by bigger, more professional organisers, who aren't as much fans as they are businessmen and who are therefore playing it safe. If you look at the bands that have been brought to Europe post the "DIY" era of EOD and BLOOD, most are pretty mainstream compared to Kaya (and those that weren't largely flopped, e.g. Celestia Le Ciel and Kana).

As much as I hate cons, I think the best chance for him would be to perform at some large anime and manga con since that pretty much guarantees a good size crowd. It worked in the US, so it could work in Europe as well. Perhaps Japan Expo, since the French seem to be more open to J-music that isn't rock based (for example, I doubt that Kokia or Kanon Wakeshima would have been offered record deals in Germany).

yeah.. there is a big organisation problem.. but (I only know it for germany) here are a lot of fans.. here in munich i think a hall could get full and anywhere else, cologne for example or berlin he could have a chance, too. ::erm::

Another possibility is, that he does something like a coupling-tour with Versailles or M10M or something..

the people who don't know him, get to know him and we, the fans of him will cheer him anyway

I imagine doing a tour w/ Versailles and Kaya would be interesting since they have toured in the past like with NOS and may have a similar fanbase. However since Kaya is a major label artist its more probable for Universal to have the funds to provide the EU/World fans with a Kaya tour. Versailles did it with only one release in the EU so maybe Kaya should start targeting the EU market like Versailles & Moi dix Mois have done.

Like I said before though the venues will probably be quite small (maybe 200-300 people) and as well as dancers + props he probably can't afford anything massive. Still, it would be interesting to see what he can provide.
