Can you translate the Kaya-rose.com biography and see if it says that Kaya does all his album artwork himself?
I translated that for Hannya.
現在『耽美』をメインテーマに活動、『美意識革命』『セクシャリティの解放』を目標とし、作詞、CDジャケットデザイン、メイクや衣装デザイン、ライブの構成、演出、そのすべてを自ら手掛ける
"He himself handles everything having to do with song lyrics, CD jacket design, make-up and outfit design, organization of concerts and performances."
I think you might have misunderstood. It doesn't say he does it himself or all by himself. It says he "handles" it. It could also be translated as "he has a hand in" everything. I think it's impossible for one person to do ALL of those things by themselves. It could mean that someone else designed the jackets and then he looked them over and edited them or whatever. Kaya did complain about not having enough staff/help well into December 2007 (I'm guessing around the same time he was auditioning for major labels.)
That said, I do know for sure that Kaya did say he drew/designed the cover for the Kaleidoscope single, he drew the pattern used on the Carmilla t-shirt and he was responsible for the production of the Salon de Chocolat DVD.
The person who designed the jacket for the major-release GLITTER gave Kaya a present on stage at the AREA one-man, so even though Kaya had said something about submitting a design for the jacket on his diary, it was that person who came up with it, and Kaya must've just looked it over/maybe edited.
As far as the indies one goes, I bought it when it first came out and it has both the spacing error and says that it was pressed in Taiwan. It also has the Kaleidosope spelling error. So, I'm pretty sure you have the real thing.
In the credits it says:
Design: D.P.P.
Total Produced by Kaya
Interpret that as you will for the design of the jacket.
