Femme Fatale has now announced their first album ARCANA. You can preorder it from CDJapan. It comes in two different versions:

Quoting CDJapan: This album is inspired in Tarot cards?. It comes with a random tarot card for both versions.

1. Regular Edition: 3240 yen http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/DDCZ-1997

CD + Tarot Card (Randomly selected)

2. Limited Edition: 8640 yen http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/DDCZ-9040

CD + Tarot Card + Packaged in box + Something Worth 5000 Yen. ::hora::

I doubt I will purchase this any time soon. I know myself and I'd pick the limited edition of course but there's no way I'm spending that money right now. Schwarz Stein is my priority. Sorry Femme Fatale. Which version would you buy?

OK, I'm curious who's on each tarot card XD

EDIT: it says each song's concept is based on a card, but I'm guessing they have just one physical card per member and that's all.

But I still say they should include
The World

urm...this is for Femme.
Guessing Kaya is the High Priestess and Charge is the fool.
And since it's vis kei someone will have to be death.

It would be funnier if they were just random cards though.
Like "Here's that dude holding 7 swords".
Except again it's vis kei so they better just give him some butter knives.

I'm not into Femme so I'm not getting anything.

The release date was pushed to the 24th instead of the 10th, you know because Charge is leaving and all... XD

Way to go Chargackt.
Not that I'm not glad Gackt left Malice Mizer or don't know they wanted him out or anything because I am and I do

14 new songs with vocals, 6 instrumental songs and... I guess 2 of Kaya's past songs reworked as "bando sound", not bad at all. Is anyone gonna buy the super deluxe-limited edition? It's so tempting... and I won't have to see Charge's face anymore, so that's a plus.

The tracklist is up:

1. ARCANA -The Hierophant-
2. JESTER
3. 眩く太陽
4. ARCANA -LOVERS-
5. BURN
6. STARDUST
7. ARCANA -Temperance-
8. Hermit
9. the Fatal Day
10. BABEL
11. Faust
12. Mephistopheles
13. Perverted Martyr
14. KAISERIN -Rosenkreutz-
15. Chariots
16. ARCANA -Justice-
17. MOON
18. Grim Reaper
19. ARCANA -The Emperor-
20. JUDGEMENT-the die has been cast-
21. ARCANA -The High Priestess-
22. The WORLD

So far I've been able to connect most of the songs with their respective "major arcana" but I can't see where 'the Fatal Day' and 'BURN' go in all these...

So a few updates:

The previews are up: http://www.amazon.co.jp/ARCANA-Femme-Fa ... l_1#disc_1

ThEY FINALLY MASTERED THE DRUMS PROPERLY! Babel sounds great remastered and there's definitely a few tracks I'm looking forward to.

They've also released the PV for JUDGEMENT -the die has been cast-: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REVcJHYmrzc

I don't know why they decided to pick the most 'meh' track on the album to release as a promo, but the album sounds pretty promising. Nothing fantastic or wowing, but definitely an improvement from the mini-albums in August.

Does anyone happen to have a list of song's composers? Or maybe booklet scan (so it would be written there I guess).

Or the only composer here will be just "Femme fatale" ?

I only bought the MP3 album, but I know that Toshi composed three tracks on the album, the rest are by Iori (as far as I know).

Still don't know what to think about this album. On the one hand there's tracks like Jester, Mephistopheles, Chariots, Grim Reaper and the rearranged Babel which are all solid. The production is a lot tighter, Kaya's been given some great vocal tracks and everyone in the band seems like they've challenged themselves. I think it just became a little diluted with 16 songs...

Edit: Someone's posted the kanji/romaji online if anyone wants to translate? http://hiphopvomit.blogspot.ca/search/l ... e%20Fatale
