Dragon Quest can get boring, but 8 is really good :>

i played Dragon Quest 7 and 8 . I tried hard to like them , but no success i like rpgs with intense storylines and good character development -- i think DQ series lacks both. Besides, DQ series insists in the dumb mistake to never change their battle system and other stuff. I think they should inovate like FF series does.

The feeling i got while playing DQ8 was like playing a top-notch game in regards of graphics and music, but at the same time with an archaic gameplay. :\

I chose 9 because it was my first FF game. But I love 6 also. There is something about each game that I like, usually the storyline. And don't hate on FFIX because the characters are whimsical and chibi!

I loved my FFIX but I couldnt play too far cuz my PS Died andmy emulator dies after some cinema where the ship goes down
