Mana was only a guest guitarist (ゲストGuitar), he was not a member.

I think that Miyavi is not the Due le Quartz Miyavi everyone loves (or hates) ;) From what I'm aware Mana and some of the other people listed played during special live events.

Oh, so it was just guest live stuff?

I've always read that it was just a few people were in it including Zull and Peggy. I thought they were always the only recognizable two

Silly obscure bands trying to trick me up.

Over are two Web site sources citing a "Visual Art Collection" live concert event of Art Marju Duchain's that Mana had taken part in. To my reckoning, it sounds to have been a one time show.

It was a one-time-show, I have a friend who was there that night and recorded it onto an MD, I'm hoping he'll send me the MP3, but he says the quality is not good... All of the fans were surprised at the show.

Was this around the Tetsu-era of MALICE MIZER, or shortly after...?

He didn't tell me the date of it, but I will ask him for you when I talk to him next =) He just got a job, and because of the Japan/America timezone difference, we havn't been able to talk much, unfortunatly ^^; But I'll ask for you when I speak to him ^___^ He randomly came up to me when I saw The Candy Spooky Theater's live event in Osaka, and he has a signed first press copy of Art's mini-album o_O And he gave me some photographs of the band that he took (none of Mana, sorry!)

That'd be great to see those photos!! *_* Mana or not, I've loved Art Marju Duchain for years. Sometimes, they're the only thing I can play to suit my mood. They're so twisted and dark - love it!

In MALICE MIZER's 'retour' book (with photos from the band's conception to the end of the Gackt days) one of the first few pages has a collage of a bunch of early MALICE MIZER flyers and other projects the members had been invovled in, and one of them just so happens to be an Art Marju Duchain x Mana flyer. :)

Does anybody happen to know exactly how "Duchain" is supposed to be pronounced...? I've always pronounced it as "due-shine" but I have a feeling I could be WAY off. ::erm::

Hmmm... In my head, I pronounce "Duchain" as though it was French. ^^ But I have this internal battle not to pronounce the "j" in "Marju" like a "y"... :|

I never understood what's so good about this band, they suck horrible - LOL jk, but i really can't find their music special or enjoyable, maybe it's because the vocalist sucks too much, i should focuse more on the background music maybe?
but anyway there's only 1 CD of them, and they seem to have been around for a long time (or at least that guy Kai recruiting people), how lazy :P

i pronounce it like "00rth m00rj00 d00ch000n"

I actually totally agree; their one CD is terrible. But hey, whatever.
