I'm gonna third this. I'm not the most mature, pleasant, or knowledgable person around, but I do appreciate -scape- and all of the mods. If -scape- wasn't here, I'd be stuck in some forum with posters like this:

Ahem. So yes... -scape- = awesomeness. All mods and admin are greatly appreciated and revered.

I'm so grateful of -scape-. If it wasn't here, I wouldn't have met all these amazing people, and I would've still been in the "Beast of Blood" phase. I also love how flowers and navate act sarcastic, it makes the place more livened up, and funny. Thank you! Not just LejuN, Flowersofnight, and navate, but all the people who have been really nice to me, and gave me a warm welcome.

-Scape- is awesome. WAY better than, say, the Tofu Records forum.
I politely asked some chick yesterday to take down a link on a Miyavi PV she posted up, and she tells me to "clean the shit out of my knickers".
The level of ignorance there is nauseating.

Big thanks to the mods here though; mods pop in once every blue moon on Tofu it seems.

I agree with Sumire_hitsugi.

I'm glad that rumours aren't allowed here; Here, they're looked down on as much as a mosquito bearing west nile or malaria. o_o

Also, It's really, really refreshing to be slapped around/ by Mods with good reason, who make well thought out choices, and who have very well rounded opinions. Same goes for a few other people too, in this forum. Frankly, I'd really rather get 'beat down' by a person who I respect on -Scape-, than be shot down by a half assed angst driven mod on another forum.

Over all, I'm really impressed by the way this forum is run. Really impressed, and I respect everyone who's kept this place in shape.

Also, I love the jokes going around in here too. ^^ (example: HUrted Eyezz, the eyepatch-Pirates, Kaya and the Giant Mango...)

And, it if wasn't for -Scape-, I'm afraid that i'd be even more of a fangirl... like, those Anime fangrrl Otaku. Except for Malice Mizer. o_o JUST Malice Mizer.

Besides, -Scape- also introduced me to Schwarz Stein and competant, well thought opinions! For that, I am forever grateful.

I was a member on Gaia (ew!) before, which is actually how I found out about the -scape- main site, and I only made like 7 forum posts before giving up I really only joined Gaia for the avatar and the fishing game, anyway

I've only been here for 3 days, and it's so nice and helpful, and not crowded with stupid topics and fangirls and sticky caps and moderators who don't talk to you unless you have the OMGWTFBBQ Hat or the OMG LOLZ Scarf and approximately 123049 posts, and the list goes on...

Thanks for being cool people. Now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Yep, -Scape- is the best forum to me. Moderators, you're doing great and fast job to keep forum readable. Besides, latest news etc. can usually be found here and fangirlism isn't tolerated which is good.

that would be because that entire forum is full of itself and is poorly managed with one mod for 3,000 people. Talk about people who are 'elitist', jeez, at least when we challenge, we know what we're talking about. Those bastards don't have a clue.

Haha, that's true, but in Tofu's situation, the big boys upstairs don't want anyone moderating the site that they don't pay... which is understandable. However, this is not a commercial site, so there are people hear that are more adamant about keeping the site clean and free of bullshit. But you know, if you PM the mod on Tofu, he/she would take care of it for you though :/

So taking that into consideration, I think that this site works as well as it does because the people that sign up here in the first place are are not such annoying to the extent that you complain of.
