This may or may not be possible, but it's just something I was thinking of recently.
People (Lede mainly) here are kind enough to translate most of the Aesthetics entries, and they're fun to read, but they're quickly buried under pages of discussion, jokes, and occasional drama. If ever someone (okay, me) wanted to go and read a particularly amusing or enlightening older entry they'd have to search through quite a bit of extraneous stuff and multiple threads to find what they were looking for.

I don't know how relevant Mana's cryptic blog entries are to the main site, but if there was some way to make an archive of the older ones that have been translated (with the translator's permission) for easy access, that would be really cool. Like, nothing fancy, just a page with all the translated entries in order. If this were possible, I'd be willing to go through all the old threads and collect and organize them.

Not about Aesthetics, but a similar issue. People regularly translate interviews in the various forums and in the past they were added to the main site, but this hasn't been done since 2006 and so they also get buried. I usually save them on my PC, but if I want to link to an interview because something in there has come up as part of a discussion I can sometimes only find it if I search for an unusual typo. Interviews are a key source of information, not just for the forum members but also for people who use the main site to find out more about MM and their follow-up projects, so I think it would be nice to start adding them again.

Okay, I've gotten all the 2006 entries I could find organized into a post on my LJ (I was going to try a Word document, but the pages would have made it all messy).
The translator is credited at the end of each entry in parenthesis. Translation notes were left in, but I edited out other kinds of comments and emotes.
If that looks okay, I'll carry on in the same way for the rest of them.

Oi Flowers, just so you know we already had archived a handful of the translations under Mana's section.

Dunno if you want to keep them all in one place or not. I like the new format better though; since they are so short they fit well into one scrolling page.

Well, apparently no one knew about them
Since they're all on the new page now I think I'll just take down the old individual ones, and add a link from the Mana section over to where we're keeping the rest.

If I come across an entry that's been translated twice (by different people), shall I just use my judgment and choose the one that's easiest to read?
EDIT: Okay....I guess I will... ::gaku::
