Ninja would come and assassinate them when they're both tired from all the fighting, and rob them of their cash. >__>

::cred:: "Did somebody say... CASH?"
Ninjas may be sneaky... but Credit King is slippery :grin:

Really, samurai and knights were both institutions that lasted centuries. Samurai in particular existed right up until the mid-1800s. So, what weapons and armor should we assume each side gets? I'd imagine that an 1800s samurai with a Colt .45 could make easy work of a medieval knight. XD

And knights still exist today!

So, the winner is: Sir Anthony Hopkins, who eats the samurai's liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Bushido's a bunch of bunk anyway. :-P It's an after-the-fact construct designed to make up for the fact that lots of samurai were dirt poor and all they had was their rank and "honor".

Samurai! I just thought the knight would be clumsy because of his clunky armour. Those things slows people down considerably!

That's actually a myth. Armor wasn't THAT heavy; the gear carried by our modern-day armed forces are much heavier in total. A trained knight could run and jump in his armor, etc.

Thank you for correcting me in time. Anyways, another reason why I would choose samurai . . .
my instinct says samurai would win. Otherwise, I'm out of ideas.

Well, there are good knights and bad knights.... and good samurai and bad samurai.

And by "good" and "bad" I mean "might win" and "would die".

The answer is clearly Aayla Secura.

I dunno, not if the samurai or knight had a minimal element of surprise! I mean, all the Jedi except Yoda died like a bunch of mooks in Episode 3 at the hands of storm-troopers XD Not "Great Moments in Jedi History", there.

I think you mean "Not Great Film Making Decisions, Because Lucas Sucks?" ::meev::

The Jedi purge would have been the one cool sequence in the third episode. They had to make it all short and sloppy and quick and boring and not violent. Booo! Or as Darth would say... NOOOOOOOOO!

Man, I watched Empire Strikes Back last weekend. That's where it's at.
