The chain was bought apart for $30 then flamed together in 3. Metal isn't hard to work with when is heated. The medal frame was without plate and flamed to give a burned look (before placing glass inside! Never use lighter over glass!) If glass gets hot enough it can explode. Then use hot glue...

I can say that the hardest part is making the chain strong to hold heavy jewelry. sometimes 3 woven chains don't hold.

They are very expensive! For every month I would spend throwing out extensions, I would be spending $70 human hair a month! I feel growing it is best but, you do make a point. I just throw out tips. :/ Also your welcome! I just say what on mind. :)
