They have used melodies from classical composers, three obvious ones: バロック/Baroque - uses the first half of Bach's Invention No. 4 and also a Beethoven piece. Transylvania - uses a melody from a Mozart piece (one of the movements from Requiem if I remember correctly).

According to to Kaya Addicts UK Kaya said on one of his social media things (twitter or whatever) that he is releasing a new single titled 廃退 (Decadence) as the next chapter in his Gothic movement. New look for the single...

I think this is the first release of Kaya's of which I haven't liked 1 song off it....but then I'll like it over time (I did with all his other singles after Glitter =P)

I haven't received it yet but I've noticed some people on last.fm are listening to a few tracks off it. The few track names I've seen (so spoilers I guess if you don't want to know some of them yet): My World Down, Immortal -Fallen-, The Last Supper, Tranquillity.

Ah thank you both was abit worried it was a really short DVD there, kind of stupid of me to not even think of looking on Kaya's site :roll:.

Does anyone know if the tracklisting on CDJapan is the full tracklist for the DVD? As £40 is abit much for 5 live tracks & a PV for me if it is :/

Kaya mentions more about the whole "Kaya Anniversary" thing on his site. It's also nice to see Hora is up for doing another concert again as I assumed the last S.S. would be the last (physical) appearance he would make for some reason.

You're not alone in this, Kaya always seems to put the best song as a B-Side. I hated all the samples I heard of this single but I have to say it's quite enjoyable having heard it fully now and I prefer it abit more than I liked Vampire Requiem to begin with.

They're continuing under the name of Rhapsody of Fire, they just finished touring I do believe....so they'll be two bands that are almost basically the same really (and have the same logo) =P as both Alex and Luca write somewhat similar styles to each other. Hypocrisy - Suffering Souls...

I've seen some sites selling their CD's for 2,000 yen but then I've also seen some places selling them for 21,714 yen. But thats just two CD's I find and one of them is a single (the dearer one). I only got into them last month (via Ryonai's mentioning them) but I really enjoy their music :D

That's true but it's the way that Dada sometimes complains about how he can't sell CD's to countries other than Japan & Russia but it is possible with sites like this one (my friend does one for Haunted Mansion based stuff). Also by bigger band I don't mean major success I meant very few...
