Ugh dear god, I saw one of these on YouTube the other day that included one of my 15 year old postings. The worst feeling! Although the video was pretty funny so that made up for it.

I just watched that clip where he says the “six or seven” other members of Malice Mizer died and it seriously infuriated me. It’s just schtick, right? No chance he’s genuinely forgetting that only one member died, right? I read he had some brain thing and don’t know if that’s what I’m witnessing...

Finally managed to listen to this. Laughed a bit at how same-old it is - you can almost point to a previous MdM song that it’s similar to every few bars - but I love it anyway because I have come to accept that I unconditionally love Moi dix Mois.

Haha, I am not brave enough to go back and look at my old posts just yet. I glanced over my PMs and I don’t remember 99.9% of these interactions, which is probably a good thing! I do get a chuckle when I remember the odd characters who used to post here (me included).

I only listen to Malice Mizer and Moi dix Mois now. I haven't listened to any of the others in years probably, except for the odd song on youtube for nostalgia's sake. According to my last.fm, in the past twelve months I've listened to Moi dix Mois thirty times and Malice Mizer fifteen times...

It's bugging me more than I thought it would, I haven't listened to Moi dix Mois in a while and I was going to play an album in memoriam or something but I don't really want to. Feels too strange. Such a pity.

I've read a lot of interesting interpretations of the film, but I think it's good even if you watch it as just a horror in which a man is trying to console his wife who feels reponsible for the death of her son. You should check out Dancer in the Dark and Melancholia if you haven't already...
