I just checked it out and I have to say I really don't like it.. the only tracks I like at all are Rip Roll Soil, Follow the Night Light and This Day, This Rain. I just find the album to be musically boring and the vocals almost seem forced alot of times. I very much prefer No Alternative.

Same here, No Alternative was very imaginative mostly because it really was alternative - it had great tones brought over from overseas, mixed joyously with the Japanese touch... the new album is very solid but also lacks in the punch section.

yes.... i agree that "no alternative" (from the 5 songs i have :? ) is the better album on a whole, also. the songs seem more diverse and a bit more interesting.
however, i still find the new album quite enjoyable in its own right...(favorites including: Follow the night light, rip roll soil, when the saints go marching in, and this day this rain)

i don't regret buying the cd, i like it, and i do not regret buying a cd from a talented band such as deadman....

The deadman lives in Europe are in a few days...

Yes, it is! I'm about to upload a cd and a live concert. The concert is an hour long! Mostly stuff from No Alternative, because it was taped in 2003.

Well, how the lives were..>.>;
My personal opinion is that the Paris live was terrible. It wasn't deadmans fault, they where great and tried their best. But the "fans" messed it up. I was standing in the front, second row. The first row people were lying on the stage, because everyone pushed so hard from the back. Well, they touched Mako everywhere imaginable. One guy even grabbed in his pants-.-; After a few songs Mako just said very exhausted: "Please Back!"
All members looked slightly shocked the whole live, I think they didn't think it would be like that. Next morning they looked very tired at the airport, I think they should have put one day between the Paris and Frankfurt lives.

In Germany everything was much better. I think it was because the stage there was much higher and so they couldn't grab Mako all the time. But the german fans also were more calm so it wasn't such a big problem like in Paris. I think deadman pretty much enjoyed the live after the shock in Paris^^;

Well, just my opinion, but japanese lives are so much better, reallyÔ_o

And yes, they had new merchandise, but it was only a poster and a T-shirt. But I think it's the same poster as the one from the last tour. I'm not sure at this momentXD

As to whether it's a break or disbandment, let's just wait until we all know the facts. I'm not freaking out . . . . . yet.

I'm waiting for some fanclub crap to arrive so I can actually say for sure what's going on. For now, it's Hiatus.

Not really happy about this, but eh, what can I do? It just sucks that I never got to see them live. Now I really regret not going to those Europe shows.

They'll have a new clips DVD available during their last tour "Endroll" and after that they'll have about 4 fanclub only shows. In theory, I could go to one of those shows, but I don't have enough money to get to Japan for a few days to see them.

Any thoughts?

No, they're not.

2 members from deadman were in Kein, and I think the others were from GULLET and Blast? I'm not too sure about the Blast part, but yeah.

Well, I'm pretty down in the last days because deadman means very much to me.
I was at many lives of them in the last years and everything seemed so perfect, so this message came really unexpected.
However I think they should have put the message online before the last tour dates. Because I and many other people had the struggle of their lives, because they didn't know what's going on>.<

I will go to the last tour, however I'm very sad that I can't go to the FC lives. Maybe a friend would buy the tickets for me, but I can just ask her already at the venue, because I don't have her e-mail addressT_T

I can just hope that all of the members will go with making music

Makoto, if you want to, I can teach you how to join [fuzz] yourself so you can be in the fanclub and get your own tickets! It's really easy too! This goes for anyone who's intrested.

I hope they release something special in these last months, though. Maybe a DVD of their last tour, or shows in Europe? It would be a nice farewell to fans and for deadman,

I hope they all continue musically too. Mako has such a voice, writing ability and personality that shouldn't be wasted! The same can be said for Aie too. I don't know much about Kazuki, but i'm sure he's talented.

Also, in case you didn't notice there has been an update to the store last week. Two new photosets and deadman_6.pct is availabe for 1000 yen! The older ones are still available too, in case you were intrested! One of the photosets were taken from Germanys photoshoot! I'll get that one.

Also, at their last shows they're supposed to be releasing a final clips DVD. I might have mentioned earlier. What do you suppose it is? I have a feeling it's video from the Europe tour. ANyone who went, did you notice cameras?

Also, it might be all their PV's gathered which is 4 Degreeds Centigrade, Seija no Koushin, This day.this rain, Follow the Night light. That doesn't seem like much, huh? What do you think?
