Maglaia was the first name of someone I met when I arrived in Brussels, in 1984. I would have liked to get to know her better, maybe that we became friends. Stupidly, I never dared to speak to her.
And NOW look how she ended up!
Indeed ! I am quite happily surprised :P

This is not an accurate translation. It means :
I love her
Speak to me of love
Kiss me
I love her
Or it could be "I love him" too. "Him" meaning Mana of course ::mana::

Here is a song that will tell you how "Je l'aime" is pronounced (at 02:10 and 02:13). Incidentally one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite singers.

No need to say "Je l'aime" for the Master of Darkness ::mana::

Not to be a nazigrinch, but I don't agree with the translation...
Don't tell her tho. Her's is good but I dunno. I just don't agree.

I take your hand, draw you to me, and fall to eternal sleep
Let's sacrifice our emotions until the continuation of this world, I need your love

Have pity on me Embracing the shadows and enveloping the light, I sleep

As I roam in sin, I am now released to a future of flowing light, with a voice of hope

If we believe it all, here, now

Your heart is beating inside
The world of us two
Fly to the sky

Together with our light

I take your hand, draw you to me, and fall to eternal sleep

Let's sacrifice our emotions until the continuation of this world, I need your love

That dwelling within me whispers, The light embraces the shadows and lives

As I roamed in love,I am now released to a future of flowing light, with a voice of hope

Yes, if we feel it together, here, now

Together with our light, along with us..

I take your hand, draw you to me, and fall to eternal sleep

Let's sacrifice our emotions until the continuation of this world

I take your hand, draw you to me,
And offer you love eternally, till this world continues

As we melt together I search with you
until the far limits of the world

Je l'aime Parlez-moi d'Amour Embrassez-moi Je l'aime
(my love, Speak to me of love, embrace me, my love)

Until the continuation of this world

I dunno. Since there is no guarantee what "le" is it just seemed easier that way. What if it's "him" after all?

I just found the song on Youtube, and OMG, Seth's pronunciation of those words is so utterly ABOMINABLE that I barely realized that was the French part, ahahahah! I totally volunteer to coach him for free, even though it's obviously gonna mean "blood, sweat and tears"!!!
I love how freaked out you are about this ::meev:: XD

Wow, I love the lyrics to Je l'aime! They seem so lovey-dovey, or something. Gasp.

I sort of picture it going down like this.

MANA: "I can keep silent no longer! I am in love... with a man!"
YUKIE ITOH: "Yourself?"
MANA: "Actually, it's... MYSE-- wait how did you know?"

Men are so blind to their own feelings, you know, takes a woman to help them see the light, ahahahah!

Aw, poor poor Mana!

I received my copy of Reprise today (without being charged for once :D ).
Here is a little review, I hope I won't repeat what has been said so far.

En Lumière: beautiful intro to Dialogue Symphonie, not to short, not to long.
Dialogue Symphonie: I appreciate the addition of some bells in the song. I was looking forward to hear a version of the song sung by Seth and especially sime high notes. I'm not disappointed and I enjoy the song as much as the original one.
Front et Baiser: this is definitely a very special song to me because it was the very first Moi dix Mois' song I heard and the one that made me fall in love with Mana's music. So I was naturally looking forward to this cover. The short intro definitely adds something to the song...I would say, something darker that IMO was missing in the original version. Really good surprise.
Solitude: Very similar to the first version, the guitars are a bit more prominent though. I noted the addition of of some choir and some string intrument (cello or someting else, I'm not an expert)in the background.
The Prophet: Another song I was looking forward since it's one of my favourite song along with Front et Baiser. I love the new version. Again no big changes, except that I can hear the instruments better and that I can understand the English lyrics now:D Not really surprised by the cover since they played it during the Beyong the Gate tour.
Invite to Immorality: Well here I can clearly hear the drums, which is an improvement. I'm a bit dissapointed that it's so short, I liked the cheesy intro :p.
Nocturnal Romance: The organ sounds a bit weird to me in the beginning o.o No big changes again, just a better recording.
Vestige: Here it really sounds exactly the same to me. This time, keyboard sounds more prominent than the guitar.
La Dix Croix: Seth's voice really adds more power to the song IMO.
Here again, this song had been played suring the BtG tour so no big surprise.
Secret Longing: Like the original
Pageant: The guitars are more prominent in this version. I love the song so I really appreciate the cover.
Je l'aime: Really nice song. I was a bit startled by the numerous changes in the melody so it sounded a bit "messy' in the beginning but after several listenings you get the structure of the song. I appreciate the effort of trying to sing some words in French ( Palé moi d'amuuuuuuu).
Overall, the composition sounds "cleaner" to me. I don't know if the word is the best but that's how it sounds to me. Seth's voice definitely adds something to the songs that was missing in the orignial versions, don't ask me what though.
