Hey folks, I know I'm new here but I just thought everyone here should know about something that I'm doing.

First of all, I'm in the middle of creating a fansite dedicated to Klaha. It's going to have the usual things you see in a site like that; a mini bio, pictures, links, etc but I'm making it extra special and adding a whole lot of neat features and content. I can't wait to get it off of the ground and as it's being updated, I shall let everyone know. The reason why I'm creating this website is so that I can express my undying love for a talented singer w/ a beautiful soul. I also want to show my support for Klaha, despite his fans not hearing from him in a long while. Which brings me to my next project...

I will be organizing a fan project for Klaha, in which I am hoping that each and every one of his fans takes part in. I would like to gather letters, artwork, poems, etc and compile it all into one great book to someday give to him. I'm sure you guys are thinking, "How the hell are you going to give this to somebody who we haven't heard of? And hello, he has no known address." You're right, the address on the Cypher website isn't any good anymore seeing as that was for Klaha's fanclub Cryptogram, which we all know has been down a while now. Which is why I've come to this solution. I know it's crazy and a real long shot, but I've thought about it long and hard and have decided that in January 2011, I will be going to Japan myself to try and search for Klaha. It's crazy I know and there's about a 99.9% chance of failure; but even if I may fail and come back with my tail in between my legs, I'm determined to at least try.

It pains me to just sit back and accept that Klaha's "disappeared". I know that I should, but I can't. Let me just say that these projects aren't solely to try and get Klaha back to music; like some people have already stated, he may have moved onto other endeavors or something. He could also be really sick and unable to keep in touch with his fanbase as to what's going on. Which is why I want to do this. I want to bring about this fan project and get material from each and every one of his fans from all around the world and give it to him. I'd like for him to see that he still has his fans who are supporting him and thinking about him, hoping that one day, a sign will show up telling us that he's okay. Like most of his fans, I too was hurt when I discovered that he didn't come back when he said he would. But I soon realized that there's obviously issues going on in his life that we're unaware of and that's why I'll be venturing to Japan to find out not just for me, but for all of us. As fans, we have a right to know what happened. Even if he doesn't want to do music anymore and has moved on from that scene and business, it's okay with me as long as I can just find out for myself on what has happened to Klaha-san.

As the completion of the website draws near, I will notify everyone with a link and more information regarding the fan project as well as my trip to Japan. I plan on documenting my entire trip and "investigation" in the form of blogs, photos and videos to share. For anyone who's interested in contributing something to the website and/or the fan project or if you'd like a bit more info on all this, don't hesitate to PM me!

I'm looking forward to seeing all of this through and I have no desire to give up on this. I know there's not much hope in seeing or hearing from Klaha anytime soon but let's continue to be strong and supportive for him and spread the word about Operation: Klaha Search!

Thanks again ^^

the Klaha stalking part sounds really creepy, i don't think you should do this, could possibly be inappropriate too depending on the reasons why he became inactive. and it's really creepy to move to Japan to hunt someone down to give them a few fan messages. rest assured that Klaha knows he is missed without any of this!

I disagree with GitE. I think Klaha needs some inspiration to get back into his music career.

Forget the haters; do your thing.

Wait, what? Since when do we have any right to know about his personal life issues? ::kozi::
I think the situation is pretty clear already. Either he's not able to continue with public life (because of sickness or money problems or wtvr), in which case it's none of our business, or he's not willing, in which case we should respect it.
Really, if he wanted to communicate with the outside world he could find a way.

Klaha search = Klaha stalk. I agree with Flowers about respecting the artist’s privacy, think about it from Klaha’s perspective. I support your idea of creating a standard fan website. Save that money for when Klaha re-emerge to the music scene instead of wandering around Japan and be disappointed. :|

As fans, we have a right to know what happened.
No you don't.

As a human being, Klaha has a right to privacy and his own life. He owes you nothing and you absolutely do not have a "right" to know what he's up to. If he wanted to reconnect, he would. You need to respect that.

I realize you're acting out of fan devotion and probably have rationalized your plans as "he'll love to know we care so much" but I want to stress you're doing the opposite of being a good fan if you actually go through with it.

I have seen this happen to people before, people I know personally, and frankly it is nothing but creepy. As Blue Moon said, please think about what it would be like to be on the receiving end of such behavior. It's not cool.

This.

::shifty::

I would absolutely love to see Klaha active again, or to get any sign of life from him. But going all the way to Japan to look for him is pretty messed up imo.

I support this cause but the name should be changed to "Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego Klaha?" :D

I know you have good intentions, but the road to hell is paved with those.

Imagine, you're really super mega oh-my-fucking-god awesome at something. And you have a lot of fans. But, hey stuff happens and you have to take a break. Then, after a while it occurs to you that the quiet life is actually kind of nice after that hard work of yours.

Several years later somebody you don't know who is so hopped up on how awesome you are shows up at either your house or your favorite hangout or your usual convenience store or something demanding answers. It's nice that they are so into your work and all but... ::erm::

Stalking is still stalking, no matter what other pretty words you dress it up in. Stalking is goddamn creepy, no matter what the intent.

How would you feel to be on the receiving end? Think about that for a while.

If you managed to succeed in tracking him down the poor bastard'd probably grab Atora along with a case of jello-pudding and hightail it off to live with the penguins.

Again it is a really sweet thought, but try to be a little more rational and maybe tone down the endplan a bit.

First off, let me just say thanks for those who responded. Secondly, I admit that maybe I sounded a bit more aggressive than I wanted to in my initial post and for that, I apologize.

I have no intentions of "stalking" Klaha whatsoever. I'm not going to go to places where he's assumed to be at, I'm not going to go around Japan searching for him and I most definitely wasn't planning on showing up at his house. I wouldn't invade his personal space like that. Instead, I merely wanted to go to Japan to maybe post up some fliers, paint a mural or something like that to let Klaha know that he's still thought and cared about by his fans, to reach out to him instead of searching around aimlessly for him. Whether he wants to return to the music scene or not, I want to in some way show him that we still love him, no matter what and that we hope he's okay. I'd like to get a compilation book together of fanmail and artwork for Klaha so that if we should be lucky in reaching out to him, I can offer the book as a gift from all of his fans from the world. If anything, this can be our own sort of "goodbye" to him, should he really never want to return.

Again, sorry if I seemed a little "creepy" and wanted to stalk Klaha, but that's not my goal for us at all. I'd prefer trying to help us reach out to him with a special message from everyone ^^

For those of you who support this cause, I thank you very much. As I get closer to completing the fansite and planning out this trip, I will let the board know ^^ Thanks again!

I would not go to Japan in order to search people but I sometimes wrote messages to old band websites / blogs and so on and once or twice I got a reply (despite some of those blogs/ pages were deserted for years!). Sometimes Jrocker/Visual Kei Artists .... (add the word how you want to call them if you do not like those terms) do not want to be in the spotlight anymore because of their family, their new life situation, their job, sometimes they think nobody cares and sometimes they just do not want others to recognize them, we do not know why Klaha is not active anymore but he surely has some reasons. Maybe he does not want fans to do such things but maybe he would be happy to see that there are people who still appreciate his artistic work.

I was quite happy when I got a message from two people whose music I like and who disappeared. Maybe you could try any mail that is /was on Klahas website. My messages went to blogs that were not used for about 1 or two years and about half a year later I got a reply. I actually forgot about my message. I actually was close to delate the message I got. ::meev::

hmm I actually lost track of what I wanted to say. Anyway good luck.

Paint a mural? XD Are you trying to continue your search from inside a Japanese jail?
I totally, totally don't recommend doing anything that would get the attention of the local constabulary.

She/he could be as skilled as banksy ::gaku::

I really don't know what to say. On one hand, i'd really like klaha to start his solo activities again and it seems like a really, really, really, one hundred milion miles long shot but you might be actually the trigger ::meev::

On the other it's what everyone has said so far.

If you want to get his attention and be realistic, I'd say put together a nice fansite for him like you planned, and maybe drop a message about it to Mon+Amour or on Közi's or Mana's sites. They might not pay attention to it, they might not even have any way to contact Klaha anymore, but there's a chance that they would take notice of it and e-mail it to him or something. Right?

So that way he can know you care and no one has to go stalking around Japan, graffitiing their undying love to Klaha ::meev::

I have so many mixed feelings about this!
I'm a huge, huge Klaha fan too, and I know it sounds silly, but I'd go try to find him too if I could XD So I see where you're coming from. I always tell anyone who goes to Japan to find him for me ::meev::. But I do understand what people are saying about his privacy and personal problems.

I admire how much you're willing to go in order to get a response from him though. I just wish he'd left a 'goodbye' message, or any kind of message for us so we wouldn't be wondering for years what's happened to him... I wonder if he knows he still has fans >__<;;

I'm willing to help in any way I can with the website you're making~ As Berserk said, maybe he'll notice it :3

now there's an idea. Even if Mana & co. had no way of contacting Klaha, they do have a platform large enough to be heard, so a message through them would probably reach further than a mural or something ::kisaki::
