The Juka (a.k.a. "Shaura") thread

I'm expecting this album with more impatience than I would actually like to admit it...

My appreciation of their first CD was pretty weird. On the 5 tracks, I liked 2 songs a LOT, I hated one, and I couldn't care less about the 2 others because they were too bland to me. Now I wonder how I will like their new album...

I saw the Curse of Life PV... and honestly, I can see why t was banned from TV.

Juju looked waaay too into stabbing whatever he's stabbing. I love the drippy blood and the way it splattered and stuck to him, really viscous. <3

The song didn't really stick to me though, and the only part that actually stood out was the fact that Juka wasn't wearing a tacky shirt and that gorgeous stabby part. XD

This is from Aureola!

I just saw Curse of Life PV too, and now I can say this is not my kind of band.
I really try to like their music, but for me it sound generic :\ I really like juka :(

but I wish good luck to the band. they are planning a oversea tour next year, and probably they will come to my country, Brazil.

Curse of Life is actually the worst song on the album. Ive heard the whole thing and it's way better than I was expecting. Some sounds like it has some L'arc influence.

It's good. If you hated Curse of Life like I did, you'll be surprised by the rest of it.

XOVER's ending.... I'm getting so confused :/

Shaura's blog:
XOVER’s activities will come to a finish pretty soon.

Personally, so far amongst the songs I’ve sung, these are the songs that I like the most, and where I’ve gotten to write the lyrics, so I feel that what I’m able to leave behind, are works that have a lot of emotion in them.

I’m satisfied with that part of it, and I can’t even begin to express the gratitude I have for Kouichi.

The meaning behind why I ended this wonderful time that we shared…

That…

Is something that I will touch on later.

So that there are no regrets for the final live, I will devote myself to it completely.

somewhere except here... ok, a clue... Mexico
the x-over fanclub street team president in Mexico, told me that since months ago. She said she talked with xover agent and he said xover will be ending very soon and there was another band project for Shaura.

Edit: i went to search the info... She (the president of mx fc) said S Kawanishi, president of RED LIST ENTERTAINMENT, posted a message in his blog or something...

here's the message:

遂にXOVERお披露目の日

この日を迎えるまで、、、構想からおよそ1年以上、、様々な紆余曲折がありました。

まだ、終っていないだけに、気を引き締めて行って参ります。

よろしく!!

english...

The day which is a XOVER announcement at last Various many twists and turns had for approximately more than 1 year from the plan until this day was met.

I'll brace myself, go and come because it has not ended yet.

Give my best regards! !

it was from early september... =(

I have missed a bunch of this.

I actually like the curse of life. It IS generic, but I enjoy it for some reason. And to be honest, it's nice to hear Shaura again. :)

Also, I'm tired of this shit. D: I was just thinking how I liked the stability of him being in a band finally. He shit all over that. D:

Lastly, I thought the stabbing scene was kinda lame. xD
(I bet he's stabbing ::mana::)

He thinks these were the best songs he has sung? I thought they were the most generic and uninteresting, but to each their own.

Hopefully people will now come round to at least considering that Mana did not kick him out of M10M. Mana, Hizaki, Kamijo and now Kouichi - the list of people and projects he has left behind is growing and he didn't stay anywhere for long.

Sounds to me as if he's either just experimenting at the moment, trying out lots of different styles of stuff to see what he wants to do full-time, or he's destined to become one of those nomad artists who never stays put for ten seconds. At first I admit I didn't like that sound of that, but well, it didn't exactly do Hizaki any harm, did it? I mean, he's been in more bands than he's had hot dinners, but he's still managed to establish himself, and nobody thinks any the less of him for his fickleness.

I don't think Juka will quit- well, I hope not anyway. At the moment there's a bit of a shortage of good vocalists in Visual Kei, so we need people like Juka to stick around.

I quite liked Xover, but to be honest I never really expected them to last very long for some reason. I wasn't expecting them to disband so soon, though. But if the band members' hearts aren't in it, what can you do?

Well these songs probably give him the strongest sense of ownership. Even the ones he wrote for his own solo project probably might not feel like "his own" because he was pretty much being cradled by HIZAKI & co. at the time. I can respect that (but I agree with you).

Also, this gives me hope that he'll change his name back. Please man, let us call you Juka again! ::meev::
