^ Thank you *so* much for the translation and *SQUISHES Hora* He is so... ::squeeeee::

I love his boyish spirit and his hermit-like tendencies. ::squee::

By the way, Kocha's chipper as always.
All he's doing is sleeping though (laughs)
 I guess that's what passes for chipper at Chez Hora...
As usual he remains subtly awesome XD

You CAN have 2 bass players in a band though... but you would also need other members besides the two bassists and I guess that's not in the cards ::meev::

::squee:: Faith, thank you so much, once again. <3

I wonder what songs are gonna be remixed. =3

I adore how Hora interacts with Kotaro... just like how some other Jrockers adore their cats.

Hora has a manager? XD

I was thinking the *same* thing! ::gaku::

Of course he does, why would he? >_> She's really nice.

Because he doesn't tour, or do publicity (in the grand sense), or photo shoots, or live appearances, etc.

I just didn't think he had the need for one.

Well that's by his personal choice that he doesn't want to do all those things. But in the last interview he stated he wishes to do a live overseas, but hasn't planed to yet.

I take that with a grain of salt, sort of like half the things Mana's said he wished to do at one time or another. I think a lot of those things are said just to be polite.

In the interview, the question was "Do you have any plans to play any live shows? If so, would you ever consider playing a live in the US or Europe?"
His answer was Though I haven’t planned a live yet, I’m interested in performing in the US and Europe. If I could do a live in there it would be good. He might have been simple polite, but who knows. Btw, here's the interview, for those who missed it.

I agree with you there...on the other hand, I guess he really wants to come to the USA...but that's only for one thing ;) ::hora:: ::meev::

He said before somewhere, that he doesn't do live appearances any more or that much. But who are we to doubt him if he has said it himself?

AND...I don't think Hora going live is suitable, it would be a waste of time and resources, he may as well do a DJ set or something, because his music can only be played "live" to a certain extent. If he does these lives, then it would be for his appearance and visual purposes only....which he is trying to avoid.

Oh come on; America's out immediately. All the Japanese musicians want to go to Europe for their lives and stuff. It's got the techno, goth, disco, everything scenes and all the historic roots, plus whatever romantic stuff their teachers told them about in middle school. The only reason to come to America is for old car shows, apparently.

And he doesn't have enough fans living close enough together to make sense in Europe or anywhere but Japan.

I'm 99.99% sure he was just saying that to be nice. It's a well known Japanese custom.

hypothetically, if you couldn't ask Hora something for an interview, what would you ask him? >_>

I'd ask him what inspiration he's had for his song titles, and what types of electronic music he's been listening to currently.
I'm realllly curious about what anime he contributed the ending theme song for [? thats right yes? Ending, opening...? something like that]. o_o; please ask!~

Oh dear...I was talking about sneakers. He said he wanted to go to the USA for sneakers? Right? and basketball? I wasn't exactly thinking music wise, I don't think Hora would want to exclude the USA. You're right, about the Europe stuff tho... I really don't understand how America would be out immediatly, unless you have spoken to Hora yourself. I don't think assumptions and "what if" or "but other japanese artists"...come into this, did you read the interview?

EDIT: then again, it's not nice saying in an interview "No I don't want to do live in the USA".....so most likely it was out of polite-ness.

Random but I didn't know where else to put it.
My friend decided to add some stuff/a melody line to Hora's song Photon and it reminded me of a Dragonballz rip off afterwards...
So I was fooling around, sang along and made up lyrics as I went using a similar melody, and recorded it :P It's not too bad, just a little very bad.
A poorly mixed clip for those who're interested (He didn't want me using his version, which is what I originally sang to, so the synching is a little off):

http://www.lerman.biz/asagao/soundy.mp3

lyrics:

Amidst the scorched scenery we stand
To save this world we must be strong, fierce!
The battle of eternity starts!
Now...1.2.3.4 FIGHT!

Oh come on; it's horrible XD
I was ad libbing in a foreign language to a completely DB'z otaku version of the song that I can't even post here *my friend doesn't want anyone else to hear it yet*
So I had to use the original, and it doesn't quite fit~

But thank ye still
