I'm starting to feel like some of those demo tapes don't even exist. Tried to get them for over 10 years and never saw them on sale anywhere :(
I think there was a bootleg best of CD in Brazil or something that includes some of those demo tapes. Might as well try to find that one... I wonder if the bootleggers bothered to clean up those casette tracks. In that case it would actually be worth something.

Is mercari easy to use for baka-gaijins? Never used it before in my life.

It's anti-gaijin!
You need a host of Japanese details such as address and phone number...not to mention language ability.

If you have any Japanese friends or contacts, you can get them to buy and consolidate stuff for you! @Cantavanda is quite the master at that.
Or, there are proxy services available but this will incur a heftier extra fee.

I wonder if Japanese stores/ sellers realize how much their business would improve if they sold overseas.
Even some Finnish online stores have the option to change the language to English. It's just a common thing in this day and age.

Whot? I just checked and every pageant for sale is super expensive!! I wonder how that happened....

Yeah, after I saw this reply, I checked as well. However, I don't see any that actually sold for that price. Sellers can list items for and ask for whatever they want, but unless they actually sell, the value is not there. I'm still a little skeptical.
