@flowers, I had it in English so I'm guessing it defaults to Japanese unless you select it manually? either way! Envious, but I'd never be able to afford that anyway...

Edit: if he can sing it in Japanese, I think he'd do a great cover of 'the joker' by Shirley Bassey. Yes, the only reason I know that song is from Kath & Kim ::meev:: but it's something he's pretty capable of singing.

Tanuki is one ugly place. I'd really like to believe it represents an extreme end of bangya spectrum. Girls selling themselves in fuzoku, so that they could afford buying bandmen's "love"? Yikes. I can understand wanting to support your favorite artist financially, but doing it for dates or sex is.... ::erm:: Knowing full well that you are just being used for money. I can't even understand what's the incentive for bangya. Anyways, I'd still like to believe that mitsu as "sex for money" is not that common (at least not among well-known bands, as it would be too risky). Mitsu as expensive presents... I've seen that (bangya tend to brag on social media if a bandman wears something they've bought).

It is def a different cultural perspective and all of the girls who do give mitsu are not fuzoku/prostitutes. One girl I know who gives money every month to an 00's era band man is a truck driver. One of my supporters is just a regular day job lady too. The mindset behind it is not "I am being used" but "Because I support them their win is my win." But yah, Mitsu is super common and a necessary evil. Put simply: Good girls just want to support your music and are happy with only that. Crazy Ones: LIVE WITH ME, BE MY HIMO! ::bleh::. but like with anything there is a lot of gray area between those two extremes.
It is not really risky at all because it is so common just to accept the money without doing anything weird, not even meeting them, just giving them the info for furikomi bank transfer, and if someone was like "oh I gave him mitsu!" in a kind of western SJW huntdown the response would be "だから何?"::angel::

Also I think the Japanese view on sex is different.
They didn't have 2000+ years of religions instilling shame in their culture.

Hey!
I'm a long time forum lurker (you're being watched!) and I finally decided to make an account just so I could post on this thread and ask one simple question:
Have any of you people actually managed to back this project up? Because I sure can't.

I have the same problem many other people seem to have; I can't make an account on Muevo simply because my homeland is not on the drop-down menu where you're supposed to put your country in. This is apparently big enough problem that they've posted this on their muevo twitter account:

Currently, we have received many inquiries from customers other than Japan that there is no corresponding country name in the country selection form, "account creation" and "plan settlement" can not be done and we can not purchase the desired plan.
we will guide you individually, we are sorry to trouble you, please contact us at the following e-mail address.

Well, that's what I have done. From two different email accounts in fact and I've yet to receive any reply from them. This is a tad bit frustrating, because I would really like to fund the project...

Any similiar experiences or ideas what I should do now?
Is this a correct moment to use your people's favourite smiley ::hora:: ?

I was waiting for a time when I had more money but damn, this is annoying. I'll maybe shoot them an email soon just to see how long it'll take.

Good luck. Been waiting for over a week now myself.

As a Kaya fan this is pretty stressful.
Muevo, baby, you're giving me hernia.

Update: Still no reply.

Jesus Christ. I guess I won't be able to fund the project. What the hell.
I've sent them 3 emails already; 2 from one account and 1 from another.

Am I missing something here? They themselves gave that email address on twitter and told people to contact them. I'm getting a bit frustrated here.

That might be for the best, if they can't answer your email do you think they'll really send you your products?

Good point, I guess.
They shouldn't give an email address and tell people to contact them if they won't answer, though.

It just frustrates me so much because I'm a rather big fan... These kind of crowd fundings have been made for people like me, yet I can't take part in it.
I don't even understand why their site has a limited amount of countries you can select from.
I mean, they already have America, Taiwan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, France, UK, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Germany, so why not just put every country there? Might as well. At least the whole Europe would be nice.

I recommend writing to Kaya's official email address. Honestly, I think it's pointless to hope that muevo will ever reply to you.

I suppose you're right. I just sent an email to the info email I found on Kaya's website asking if I could fund the project by some other way.

I'm sorry for stressing out about this here. This thread has turned into my venting blog.
The only thing missing is a huge amount of ellipsis and an emo song in midi form playing in the background and this would be an angsty teenager's myspace.

remember myspace?

Good. Quality service. Excellent.
I would have liked to donate the max amount as well.

Only 18 days left on the campaign and no one has replied to my emails. Not from Muevo nor Kaya's website.
This is just fucking weird at this point.

I've decided to give up. I've donated all my material possession to charity and I'm moving to Tibet in order to enlighten myself and also to set myself on fire.
